Yeah I thought about it more + read mocks, and many still have Fields to Denver. I'm just not sure why they would bring Bridgewater in. If Lock flops, they can turn to Fields. Maybe they plan to sit Fields/the QB they draft for a year?

EDIT - I made a few changes to my mock. Early changes had a flow-on effect. Essentially I put Mac Jones back at pick 3, put Lance at pick 15, put Vera-Tucker at pick 14, and put Jamin Davis in the 1st round too.

WE NEED YOUR FINAL MOCK DRAFT, DENNIS!!!

If Dennis doesn't post in time, we'll have to roll with his April Mock Draft (as Matt alluded to). Hopefully he posts in time, but I'm not sure due to the time difference.

I'm sorry fellas, I couldn't do my final mock draft. The plan was to do it Wednesday/Thursday but I my 85 year old father had an accident and I had to look after him.

I will probably post my thoughts on the draft Sunday morning.

EDIT - Really sorry to hear that Dennis. Hope he, and you are ok. Take as long as you need.

Congrats Warrior. You'd clearly done your research. I was torn between Jones and Lance for #3. I thought Lance, but other mocks were saying Jones, so I followed them. I could've got 2nd if I had done Lance at #3 and Jones at #15.

Main winners:
Minnesota
Detroit
Chicago
NY Jets
Dallas

Main losers:
Green Bay
New Orleans
Las Vegas
Arizona

Pick grades:

Jacksonville: A+ (got arguably the best player seen in 5 years)

NY Jets: A (did what they had to)

San Francisco: A- (did the right thing not selecting Jones)

Atlanta: A (got arguably the 2nd best player in the draft)

Cincinnati: B (poor decision passing on Sewell)

Miami: B- (poor decision passing on Sewell and Smith)

Detroit: A+ (got arguably the 2nd best player in the draft)

Carolina: B- (poor decision passing on Surtain)

Denver: B- (poor decision passing on Fields, but Surtain is the best CB in the draft)

Philadelphia: A (Smith's size is the only reason he wasn't selected as the #1 WR in the draft)

Chicago: A (got arguably the 2nd best QB in the draft at pick 11)

Dallas: A (got one of the best defensive players in the draft at pick 12, all while trading down)

LA Chargers: A- (got the 2nd best OT in the draft)

NY Jets: A- (got good protection for Wilson)

New England: A (got the QB they always wanted, without having to trade up)

Arizona: D+ (big reach)

Las Vegas: D (big reach. Another failed draft by Gruden)

Miami: A- (got the best edge rusher in the draft without having to trade up)

Washington: B (filled a need, but a slight reach for me)

NY Giants: B+ (they would've preferred a better WR, but they realised they couldn't get a tier 1 WR, so traded down & got the 4th best WR in the draft)

Indianapolis: A- (got the 2nd best edge rusher in the draft without having to trade up)

Tennessee: B+ (take away Farley's injury history, and he is a top 12 pick. However, Darrisaw was available)

Minnesota: A+ (traded down 9 spots to draft the same player they were always planning to draft)

Pittsburgh: B+ (got the player they planned and hoped they would)

Jacksonville: C- (they already have a rookie RB who rushed for over 1,000 yards)

Cleveland: B+ (got a good value pick, even though CB wasn't the #1 need)

Baltimore: C+ (WR was a need, but a) I think there were a few better WRs, and b) there were also edge rushers available)

New Orleans: D- (reach when there were better players available)

Green Bay: F (failed draft once again. At this point, you've got to wonder whether Green Bay's management/board WANT Rodgers gone. Firstly, huge reach. Secondly, there were better prospects available. Thirdly, there were several WRs available)

Buffalo: B+ (good value pick who dropped for some reason leading into the draft. Will combine well with Epenesa)

Baltimore: B+ (good value pick that fills a need. Makes their first pick look better too)

Tampa Bay: B+ (draft bolter who was at times, mocked in the high 20s. Good value pick)

Dennis: Family comes first, bro. All is fine.

Matt: I could've done even better if I had kept Horn to the Panthers. By doing so, I would've had Slater at #13. I probably would've had Collins to the Cardinals as well if I had done Horn to the Panthers as I originally had as I heard he would be the pick if Surtain and Horn were both off the board. I could've gotten 15-16 all by keeping Horn. lol

Big Winners for me were the Lions, Giants, Bears, and Vikings. Giants lost out on a Top 3 WR, but gain a future 1st and 4th (as well as a 5th this year) to get who most considered to be the best of second tier WRs - incredible. I've been saying in my Final Mock for a month now that I had the Vikings would fall ball since they don't have a second, and somehow they still get their guy while gaining two 3rd Rounders. Lions win by Sewell falling to them; Bears win by hitting reset with Fields.

Losers for me were the Patriots, Raiders, Steelers, Saints, and Packers. I know Mac Jones fits the Pats' system, but I really think he is a Day 2 Guy when you think about it. Raiders did as they usually do and overdraft a guy. Saints did the same, which they have done in the past. Harris is a good fit to the Steelers, but I don't like drafting RBs in the 1st. I would've put the Jags as losers for drafting Etienne, but they got Lawrence and the two did well together at Clemson. Packers should've gone WR but didn't, per usual, and Rodgers wants out of town. They turned down #3 + Extras from the 49ers, which was a huge mistake. They could've gotten Pitts at #3 and then Elijah Moore at #29, which would've been huge for Love next year. It would've been hard for Love to struggle with a unicorn in Pitts, a speed demon in Moore, and a guy that catches everything in Adams. Horrible decision.

Dolphins did well, I'd say B+. All depends if Phillips and Waddle can stay healthy and put up numbers like they were when they were at their best. Very high ceilings. I had Waddle as WR2, so I'm okay with him going above Smith (who was dropping because of his weight). I would've rather had Sewell, but Flores didn't want guys who chose to sit out last year.

I just noticed that you forgot to count both of us correctly predicting Jaelan Phillips at #18 to Miami. That gives you a margin of 5, and ties me with Mike.

I'm frustrated with the Waddle pick, because we could've stayed at #12 and still got him or Smith. And in this situation I don't like turning down Sewell. It's amazing that he fell to #7, because to me he's the 2nd best player in the draft, and one of the best OTs in recent years. Then with pick 18 we could've got WR Toney, or stuck with Phillips and got a WR in the 2nd round.

Simply, Sewell > Waddle. But I do like the Alamaba connection.

Nicely done, Warrior. And Dennis I hope he's alright.

My thoughts:

Fun draft! Not as many trades as I was expecting. I really thought Denver was going to trade up with Miami and take Fields.

1) Jacksonville Jaguars ? Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson - no real thoughts. I think his floor is Pro Bowl, ceiling is multiple MVP

2) New York Jets ? Zach Wilson, QB, BYU - I don't think he's the clear cut #2 QB, but he's got a high ceiling.

3) San Francisco 49ers (from HOU through MIA) ? Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State - He's raw. Huge upside. They keep saying he'll sit to start the season but you don't trade 3 first round picks for a guy that's not playing. He'll start.

4) Atlanta Falcons ? Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida - Sewell would've been a better fit as Atlanta already has weapons, but this pick shows they're really going all in for this year. Pitts will be a stud.

5) Cincinnati Bengals ? Ja?Marr Chase, WR, LSU - Again, Sewell was the obvious choice here. Strange pick when you have 2 1000 yard receivers already and an obvious need at OL.

6) Miami Dolphins (from PHI) ? Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama - Not much to say here. Miami already has a good offensive line and this pick helps set Tua up for success.

7) Detroit Lions ? Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon - Great pick for Detroit here. Sewell is a foundational piece and I think Devonta Smith would've been a reach here.

8) Carolina Panthers ? Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina - Not sure what to think here. The Panthers have a need at CB but I thought they were going to take an offensive piece to help out Darnold

9) Denver Broncos ? Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama - Weird pick for me. Surtain will be a great player but the Broncos have no need at CB after signing Ronald Darby and Kyle Fuller with Bryce Callahan already on the roster and strong safeties. This was the spot to take Fields.

10) Philadelphia Eagles (from DAL) ? DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama - Third times the charm I guess. JJ Arciega-Whiteside is a bust, and the jury's out on Jalen Raegor.

11) Chicago Bears (from NYG) ? Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State - Gotta give em credit for moving up. Andy Dalton wasn't it.

12) Dallas Cowboys (from PHI through SF, MIA) ? Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State - I think Parsons has the potential to be the best defensive player in the draft, but his off-field stuff is concerning and the Cowboys had great need in the secondary and offensive line. But I think anyone at those positions would be a reach here so this is a nice pick.

13) Los Angeles Chargers ? Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern - Great pick and the obvious choice, he'll slot right in as a nice starter.

14) New York Jets (from MIN) ? Alijah Vera-Tucker, OL, USC - A nice pick to help protect their new QB. They'll need to pick up some weapons later in the draft.

15) New England Patriots ? Mac Jones, QB, Alabama - Jones is the guy Belichick wanted and he got him. He fits their system and with the weapons they've signed he should fit in as the starter.

16) Arizona Cardinals ? Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa - Very strange pick to me. He's a reach, and they just drafted a LB with the #8 pick last year.

17) Las Vegas Raiders ? Alex Leatherwood, OT, Alabama - Big reach. He would've been there later in this round or maybe even round 2 but he should slot in as a starter. I don't really understand the Raiders drafting.

18) Miami Dolphins ? Jaelan Phillips, DE, Miami - Huge upside, I think he has the potential to be one of the better players in the class, and Miami had a big need at pass rush.

19) Washington Football Team ? Jamin Davis, LB, Kentucky - Fills a need. Maybe a slight reach.

20) New York Giants (from CHI) ? Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida - Great work on the trade, but I'm not sure about this pick. The Giants already have Golladay, Sheppard, Slater, Engram, and Rudolph to catch passes. I think Toney will be fine, but Darrisaw was sitting right there and the Giants have one of the worst O Lines in the league.

21) Indianapolis Colts ? Kwity Paye, DE, Michigan - Nice pick. He'll be good, and seems like a great locker room guy.

22) Tennessee Titans ? Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech - I'm surprised Farley fell this far despite his injuries. Fills a huge need for them if he can stay on the field.

23) Minnesota Vikings (from NYJ through SEA) ? Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech - Nice pick. The Vikings have needed OL help for years and always neglect it.

24) Pittsburgh Steelers ? Najee Harris, RB, Alabama - I like the pick in context. The Steelers need a workhorse RB that can take some pressure off Ben and whoever the future QB is. They aren't going to win games with Ben throwing 50 passes a game. This will be a great pick if they can draft OL help Day 2.

25) Jacksonville Jaguars (from LAR) ? Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson - Eh. I think a receiver would've been a better pick here but another RB to help lighten the load isn't terrible.

26) Cleveland Browns ? Greg Newsome II, CB, Northwestern - Pretty good pick. I was expecting DLine but Newsome will be a good player.

27) Baltimore Ravens ? Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota - About expected. The Ravens need weapons.

28) New Orleans Saints ? Payton Turner, DE, Houston - A reach. To be honest I haven't even heard of this guy.

29) Green Bay Packers ? Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia - See above. They wonder why Rodgers is salty.

30) Buffalo Bills ? Gregory Rousseau, DE, Miami - A good pick at this spot

31) Baltimore Ravens (from KC) ? Jayson Oweh, DE, Penn State - This guy seems like a bit of a project. His total lack of sacks is concerning but sometimes you just get unlucky.
32) Tampa Bay Buccaneers ? Joe Tryon, LB, Washington - I don't know this guy either but the Bucs have no obvious holes so whatever.

Thanks. After going 5/5 and then missing a number in a row, I thought that was it. Predicting mid-to-late 1st Rounders is so difficult because of the domino effect. Luckily, as you alluded to, there weren't all that many trades. Today will be different, however, and thus will be much harder to predict.

Here's My 2nd Round Mock Draft (Total Crapshoot):
33. Jaguars: Elijah Moore, Wide Receiver, Mississippi
34. Jets: Jevonte Williams, Running Back, North Carolina
35. Falcons: Asante Samuel Jr., Cornerback, Florida State
36. Dolphins: Jeromiah Owusu-Koramoah, Linebacker, Notre Dame
37. Eagles: Aaron Robinson, Cornerback, Central Florida
38. Bengals: Dillon Radunz, Offensive Tackle, North Dakota State
39. Panthers: Sam Cosmi, Offensive Tackle, Texas
40. Broncos: Nick Bolton, Linebacker, Missouri
41. Lions: Terrance Marshall, Wide Receiver, LSU
42. Giants: Azeez Ojulari, Outside Linebacker, Georgia
43. 49ers: Tyson Cambell, Cornerback, Georgia
44. Cowboys: Dayo Odeyingbo, Defensive End, Vanderbilt
45. Jaguars: Josh Myers, Center, Ohio State
46. Patriots: Christian Barmore, Defensive Tackle, Alabama
47. Chargers: Trevon Moehrig, Safety, TCU
48. Raiders: Dayvion Nixon, Defensive Tackle, Iowa
49. Cardinals: Jalen Mayfield, Offensive Tackle, Michigan
50. Dolphins: Teven Jenkins, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma State
51. Redskins: Liam Eichenberg, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame
52. Bears: Spencer Brown, Offensive Tackle, Northern Iowa
53. Titans: Carlos Basham, Defensive End, Wake Forest
54. Colts: Jackson Carman, Offensive Tackle, Clemson
55. Steelers: Landon Dickerson, Center, Alabama
56. Seahawks: Wyatt Davis, Guard, Ohio State
57. Rams: Creed Humphrey, Center, Oklahoma
58. Chiefs: Pat Friermuth, Tight End, Penn State
59. Browns: Levi Onwuzurike, Defensive Tackle, Washington
60. Saints: Javon Holland, Safety, Oregon
61. Bills: Ihmir Smith-Marsette, Wide Receiver, Iowa
62. Packers: Rondale Moore, Wide Receiver, Purdue
63. Chiefs: Trey Smith, Offensive Tackle, Tennessee
64. Buccaneers: Davis Mills, Quarterback, Standford

If y'all don't want to do a 2nd Round Mock competition, that's fine. I just went ahead and did a quickie. Doubt I'll even get one correct. lol
