I do not see anyone stopping them. Maybe the Niners if they are in the same form from two years ago.

I bet it's not though, it's never the obvious match up. One of those teams will make it but the other won't. I go Bucs vs Bills at this moment in time. I think Josh Allen will emerge as an elite quarterback this year and overshadow Mahomes. Then again Brady could get suddenly old and a surprise team like the Arizona Cardinals suddenly emerges as a major player and makes the big game.

I think there is a higher chance the Bucs do not make it to the Super Bowl than the Chiefs. Kansas City is loaded with that offensive line.

Chiefs also have the harder path to go through, too. On paper anyway.

We all saw what they did to Cleveland (before Machomes went down before halftime) and the Bills in the playoffs. No one is hanging with the Chiefs unless the Broncos can get Rodgers without giving up too much.

Are there any developments on that? I thought everything had to be resolved by June 1st.

Looks like the Chiefs against the Bucs is the final then. I can't see any NFC teams stopping the Bucs, Brady has got them excited to repeat and begin a Dynasty in Tampa.

I must admit I wouldn't like to bet against the Chiefs, especially now they've sorted out the offensive line.

I believe it has to be post June 1st, so tomorrow at the earliest. I'd have to think Julio is traded before the end of the week. Rodgers is more complicated; Packers seem to be holding pat. If the Broncos want him, I'm think it will cost them four or five 1sts to make Packers change their thoughts about letting him go.

I'm waiting to see how the Julio and Rodgers situations pan out to make any bets. No money on the Chiefs and Bucs, both are 5 to 1 odds. Too risky to put money on the Broncos without Rodgers.

Would the Broncos seriously give 4 or 5 first round picks for an old quarterback who is a bit of a diva. I wouldn't feel comfortable with that, it's too much for one player. Look what happened with RGIII and Washington when the player got injured. It set the franchise back years. Luckily Kirk Cousins was also drafted that year.

What if the Broncos traded five 1sts for Rodgers and Adams (who only has a year left), with both signing extensions to help the Broncos get under the cap? If you can keep all your players and add Rodgers and Adams to that offense for the next five years, I think that would be worth it.

The first 3-4 of those firsts would probably be pretty late, only the 5th one would likely be a decent pick as you have to assume Rodgers and Adams would both be done/slowing down. Rodgers and Adams along with that defense makes them much better than just having Rodgers would. If I'm the Broncos and can get both of them with a long term guarantee I'd take that. 3 of them at least are virtually guaranteed to basically be second rounders.

I completely agree. The Broncos could then trade Lock and Bridgewater and sign a cheap veteran to recoup some (later round) picks.

Sounds like a dangerous game to me. It will be interesting seeing what happens. I'll be shocked if Denver give up 4-5 first rounders though. Rogers has been on a steady decline if you take away his last year. What Rogers do you get this year, the one that is regressing or the NFL MVP of last year. Rogers played with a purpose last year remember, that motivation is gone if he goes to Denver and a big contract.

I don't think it automatically makes Denver a Super Bowl champion adding Aaron Rogers to their roster but it would make them a contender in the AFC. They've still got to get past:

Kansas City Chiefs
Baltimore Ravens
Seattle Seahawks
Cleveland Browns
LA Chargers
Miami Dolphins
Indianapolis Colts
New England Patriots
Tennessee Titans
Pittsburgh Steelers

Those are all teams that you can currently get better odds with the bookies than the Broncos who are currently +3000. You can't tell me one player can suddenly elevate the team to +475 which is the Kanasas City Chiefs.

I can't belive the Dallas Cowboys are +2800 while Washington is +4000. Dallas aren't even winning the NFC East. I've been watching the Washington training camp and Fitzpatrick is throwing bombs all over the place. Curtis Samuels is better than I thought...

If Denver could get Rodgers and Adams with only giving up draft capital, they will instantly become #2 in the AFC.

Declining Aaron Rodgers is a better QB than the Broncos have had in about 10 years.

Easily. Not even sure he would digress much with that sort of supporting staff.

Rogers has 0 chemistry with the Broncos wide receivers at this moment in time and there's about 3 months to the start of the NFL season. This time last year Brady was training with the Bucs offense and it wasn't until the second half of the season that Tampa Bay started looking like serious Super Bowl contenders.Even if Rogers goes to Denver there's going to be a getting to know the team period which may not be pretty.

Sure. That could be an issue. But if the Broncos only make the playoffs in year 1 and don't really succeed until year 2 it's still a success imo. Winning a Super Bowl gives your team a nice 4-6 year window after the win where nothing really matters. See the Eagles in 2017 til now. They haven't repeated the success but Eagles fans didn't seem to get fed up with the team till now. Patience is just now getting thin with the Seahawks and Broncos too. Fans will be totally happy if there is mediocrity 1 year before a win and 3 years after a win as long as they get that win in the middle.

Exactly. If they can even win one with Rodgers, it will be considered a success. It was when they did the same exact thin with Peyton. The only problem is that was now five years ago, and they have not found their next franchise QB in that time.
