Yeah and I think that's a success for him.

You cannot really ask or expect much more than that from a Day 2 Prospect. The Redskins are also pretty much set at WR, so it might be hard for any of them to eclipse 1k yards.

Chase Young made the list for rookie of the year in 2021, he was the only defensive player of the six considered. Found out yesterday that not only did Chase Young enter last season with a groin injury, he also had a hip injury which was kept quiet from the media. He is now saying he is almost 100% healthy and waiting to tear up the NFL. Reports say if it hadn't of been a practice session yesterday, Ryan Fitzpatrick would have been killed as Chase Young was bearing down on him one-on-one on several occasions and pulled up at the last instant.

Who is this William Bradley-King that was picked in round 7 who is causing a stir? I can't see how this Defensive End can possibly get into the squad, but he is raising the eyebrows of experts who say he will definitely see action.

I do not really keep track of any player that falls past Day 2 as the odds of them making it is small, unless a top talent happens to fall.

I'm the same Warrior13, I don't expect anyone drafted after the fourth round to make the team but this seventh rounder is making some noise. Ryan Kerrigan wasn't kept, they let him go to Philadelphia. King was a two-time Missouri state wrestling champion so he must have a lot of athletic ability. I'll be keeping an eye on him. Kamren Curl was a seventh round draft pick last year and experts are now saying if the draft was done again knowing what we know now he would have gone in the first rounds, as would Antonio Gibson. Curl is so good they Washington are trying to turn Landon Collins into a linebacker.

Who should I be keeping an eye out for the Dolphins? I love a late round pick who turn out to be a steal.

I likes a few Day 3 Picks:

Jags - DT Jay Tufele (fell because of limited playing time)
Cowboys - LB Jabril Cox (fell because of size)
Texans - TE Brevin Jordan (fell because of mediocre Pro Day)
Eagles - RB Kenneth Gainwell (fell because of sitting out)
Panthers - DT Daivyon Nixon (fell because of character concerns)
Ravens - CB/S Shaun Wade (fell because of pro last season)
Cowboys - WR Simi Fehoko (fell because of not big stats)
Chargers - LB Nick Niemann (fell because of not big stats)
Panthers - G Deonte Brown (fell because of excessive weight)
Giants - CB Rodarius Williams (fell because of not big stats)
Chiefs - T/G Trey Smith (fell because of health concerns)

Tufele was once a 1st Round Talent.
Cox was consistently mocked in the 2nd Round.
Jordan was supposed to go on Day 2.
Gainwell was supposed to go on Day 2 and will be the new Sproles.
Nixon is a Top 15 talent but has off the field issues.
Wade was once a 1st Round talent.
Fehoko put up Pro Day numbers like Chase Claypool.
Niemann put up crazy Pro Day Numbers.
Brown ate himself out of Day 2.
Williams was one of the most consistent college players.
Smith is a Top 15 talents but had previous issues of blood clots.

All of these Day 3 guys have the potential to be big in the Pros if they can overcome their issues.

Biased obviously, but Steelers 7th round pick Tre Norwood is definitely making the team considering their lack of DB depth. He's a versatile CB/S that should see some playing time in different roles but I'm not expecting a ton.

They also drafted their punter in the 7th round and he'll be the starting punter.

Yeah, I was only listing possible steals, but more than 50% of those drafted on Day 3 (I can't remember the exact number) usually make the final rosters somewhere.

I can see those eleven players being Starters/Pro Bowlers. Of course the crummy Cowboys had to get two of them. I can see Fehoko quickly becoming their #3 if he can translate his speed and size to actual stats.

Lot of competition in that Cowboys WR/TE room.

Tell me about it:
Amari Cooper (above average all around)
Ceedee Lamb (playmaker)
Michael Gallup (underrated WR3)

Simi Fehoko (6-4, 225lbs, 4.35-4.40)
TJ Vasher (poor mans DK Metcalf)
Brandon Smith (6-2, 225lbs, 40-45 vert)

Top half stars, bottom half Rookies. And that?s only half currently on 90 man roster. Dak has to be happy.

Plus Blake Jarwin coming back at TE and Dalton Schultz having a good year last year. No true superstar but a ton of quality. I really like all 3 of their top receivers, Gallup especially.

They're going to be loaded on offense, that's for sure. If everyone healthy, Dak has to lead them to the playoffs. No excuses, especially since the defense will be better after basically using all their draft picks on that side of the ball.

Unfortunately, I'm also hearing good things about Jabril Cox, the linebacker of the Cowboys. Cox paired up with Micah Parsons suddenly makes the Cowboys respectable at linebacker. Both of these players have different styles, Cox who is lighter is your coverage linebacker while Parsons is a downhill linebacker.

Yep, and they still have Vander Esch and Smith for at least this year. Maybe if they can sign and reconstruct those two guys, they could have a rotation with Parson and Cox similar to what the Chiefs do with all of their LBs.

I keep hearing rumors that they're going to trade Vander Esch. No idea if it's true, but he is in a contract year.

They did not pick up his option, which tells you he needs to have a big year or he will not be resigned. They tried trading Smith after Cox fell to them, but no one wanted him. Much like Vander Esch, if he has another down year, it appears the Cowboys will be moving on from him.

How would you rank the Dallas linebackers when they are all healthy. Parsons, Vander Esch, Cox, Smth? That's a formidable group.

I'm hearing Dak Prescott is looking sharp in training and Zeke Elliott is looking overweight.

Jordan Love is looking like a disaster for the Packers. Players have already turned on him like they did to Tua last year. Rogers must be loving this.

If all were healthy and they had a rotational thing like the Chiefs do with their four LBs, that would easily be one of the best groups in the entire NFL. Easily. How many better groups could you name?

Zeke is always overweight going into training camp. He doesn't care to keep his body in shape. Reminds me of Marcus Dupree. All the talent in the world, but can't stop eating.

I heard Love is starting to play better in training camp. He had a horrible start, but is starting to create better connection with receivers. Obviously will have to give him time to learn the system. It's not like Rodgers was great after Favre was traded.

Who leaked that out about Love getting better, the Packers publicity department. They have to say that otherwise they will alienate the fans and ticket sakes will plummet. Until we see Love in an actual NFL game the verdict is open. I tend to side with the players, which is a bit damming at the moment as the vast majority of them don't like Aaron Rogers the man and they are trashing the new guy.

I can't see how Zeke Elliot can run with that belly. Terrible self discipline during the off season. I suppose this is what happens to some players when they get given a long term contract with guaranteed money, they lose their motivation.

No chance the Packers ticket sales plummet even if I was the QB. The Packers season ticket waiting list is 140,000 people and 50 years strong...

I haven't heard too much about Love, but it's worth remember that a lot of QBs don't look great in camp partly because they're testing the limits and seeing what they can do. He also could just be terrible. I don't put much stock into either way.

Dak said Zeke is in "the best shape of his life", no idea what to believe but I think Zeke's best years are behind him.
