He was a bore. lol

Jeopardy is on way too early where I live now so I usually miss it. Somehow Wheel of Fortune is still in the same time slot. lol

Why is the show called Jeopardy, what's so dangerous about it?

I've heard of Wheel of Fortune, that show was hosted by Vanna White who bared all in Plaboy magazine in the late 80's, it caused a bit of a stir at the time. I had never heard of her.

I wonder if Matt is familiar with these shows as neither is broadcast in England. I don't know about Austrailia.

I actually have no idea why it's called Jeopardy lol. It's broadcast at 7pm for me, basically the perfect timeslot. Wheel of Fortune is at 7:30 but I'm not a fan.

Vanna White is actually still filling the same role. No idea why it's called Jeopardy.

What college players do I need to keep an eye on this year? I normally have heard of about half a dozen about this time of the year but strangely enough I can't name you one college player this year. Is the whole draft that bad?

There are like eight possible first round QBs despite none of them being as good as the Top 4 of this last draft. QB Spencer Rattler of Oklahoma is the favorite to go #1. Crapshoot after that. Top Edge Rusher at this point is Kayvion Thibideaux; dude is freak.

I straight up don't follow college football lol. Warrior and The Athletic tell me who to follow.

I basically Google the players Warrior13 says are good prospects and watch their college highlights on YouTube. I think Matt is in the same boat as me in that college football from the US is not televised in out country and the NFL only gets limited coverage.

I see quaterbacks now as a crapshoot regardless of highly projected they are when they play at college as it doesn't translate to success in the NFL. I now look at the scheme the team who drafts the player runs and what sort of coaching they will recieve to be successful. For example, I expect Zach Wilson to be a bust purely on the basis he will be thrown into the deep end like Darnold.

I love college more than the Pros. Much more parody between teams (outside of Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State). But I also keep track of future prospects with the couple of sites that do future mock drafts. I have already seen a few for 2023, and even one or two for 2024.

This next draft should be interesting since there is no clear cut #1. Unless all the QBs wet the bed, however, one of them will be #1. I would wait though until 2023 as this crop is far underwhelming. The only QB I am keeping an eye on is Tyler Shough out of Texas Tech. He was actually Herberts backup at Oregon before transferring, having similar measurables.

Washington will probably pick up a quarterback to develop in the 2022 draft so I will have an interest in them. I don't think Fitzpatrick will last more than a season or two as he has a history of self destructing when he is given the riegns of a team. What I'm hoping for is the Raiders picking up either Rodgers or Watson and Washington grab Carr. I think Carr would be good enough to get Washington to a Super Bowl.

Like I said, there are quite a few QBs that have the potential at this point of getting drafted in the 1st Round next year:

Spencer Rattler Oklahoma
Matt Corral Mississippi
Malik Willis Liberty
Sam Howell North Carolina
Kedon Slovis USC
Tyler Shough Texas Tech
Carson Strong Nevada

Obviously, a lot can change over this season.

Warrior13, who in your opinion is the best of the bunch and which one could be the sleeper of the bunch that takes the NFL by storm.

Rattler will go #1 if he has good numbers, another Murray/Baker.

Slovis has limited traits. I would stay away.

Howell has a cannon, but he is undersized and is not playing the best of competition.

Shough is a big dude with a big arm, but he has not been on the field much yet.

Strong has some Mahomes in him, but comes from much smaller school.

Willis has some crazy numbers, but comes from smallest of schools.

Corral has improved every year in college, seems can do it all.

I like Shough the best, but he had three years of eligibility left so he might not come out. Outside of him, I am skeptical on the rest. Rattler could be a good player if in the right system like Kyler Murray.

Doesn't look like a great bunch then, you make it sound as if there is no chance of an elite quarterback coming from there.

I see now why teams are clamouring for Watson despite the bad publicity he will bring with him to the club he goes to. I hear 3 first round picks is the starting bid the Texans will take, any takers yet?

I also hear 6 teams are interested - Dolphins, Giants, Eagles, Broncos, Panthers, and Washington.

None elite in my opinion at this point. All need a good year.

No one is going to pay that for him now that there are reports of ten women having gone to the Houston police to make complaints about him.

The Texans must be kicking themselves, they should have taken the Panthers offer, they could have wiped their hands of this mess and be in the process of rebuilding a decent team. It will be interesting to see which team gambles now. If they don't the price goes straight back up if Watson is cleared and able to play.

Yeah, they should have. McCaffery in his prime plus two 1sts for three years straight. They could have changed things around real quick starting next year, but now they will be horrible for years to come.

I doubt they make a move, but the Eagles have the draft capital for Watson and a huge need at QB.

Kinda funny how Watson reports to camp and there are suddenly more reports.

I doubt he gets traded now because of those new reports. If he does, I think it will be for way cheap.

Yeah. And he still has no intention of playing for Houston - apparently they had him practice in the secondary today, effectively marking him as the #4 QB. Absolutely bizarre situation.
