US Election 2020 - Biden has seemingly won

Yeah, a lot of suspicious things happening... 138k ballots in one of those battlegrounds overnight, and it was supposedly a 100% Biden clip. People not being able to watch at certain facilities. Dead people receiving ballots, people that relocated getting sent two.

I really think it will go to the Supreme Court. Might have a re-election if that happens. That would be crazy.

I didn't realise earlier than mail in ballots got counted last.

From my understanding, these mail in ballots are majority Democrat votes, because more Dems and less Republicans use them. It has been explained by several people, that this may happen. The "red mirage".

Trump has been planning for months, that if he lost the election, he would blame it on corrupt mail in ballots. He's been tweeting for months how mail in ballots are fraudulent and shouldn't be allowed. When he was leading last night, he announced his 'victory', so that if he lost, he had a 'legitimate' excuse as to why, and could challenge it in the courts.

The jump in Wisconsin is a bit odd. It could be that votes were being counted, and were added up in a lump sum.

US politics is a messy, but oddly entertaining drama.

Most states count the early and mail in ballots first. The ones that never finish in proper amount of time are the ones that do so after, which has created this mess.

The are a lot of sketchy things happening, and I think the end result will be Trump challenging the results and sending it to the Supreme Court. He has as legitimate chance of being successful this way simply because of all the suspicious things. Wisconsin at 87%? Biden clipping at 80-90% in PA to overtake a 700k lead when his national average was at a 65% skew? Poll watchers not being allowed to watch the process at all times? Watchers claiming they have seen invalidated ballots being mixed in with those that have been? 138k batch with 100% Biden Vote? Dead people and relocated individuals receiving ballots? No signature verification in places? Not postmarked in places? You're literally begging for the loser, whether Biden or Trump, to challenge the results.

If it goes to the Supreme Court, they won't have many options. If they deem things unconstitutional, what do you do? Try to figure out what ballots are valid and throw out the bad? Or basically a run off "redo" election where only Absentee and In Person Voting will be permitted?

That last option would be an absolute hellish mess. The media does things in order to frame events in a certain way. Trump is demonized for claiming Pennsylvania early - but the media can claim Arizona for Biden while all this is going on with only 65% of the votes counted? The media - even Fox News - hates Trump.

Watch today - they will claim Nevada for Biden to get him to 270 and then all media outlets will call Biden the president-elect even with all the lawsuits and uncertainty going on. This will let them frame Trump as a sore loser who is trying to cheat and steal the election from the rightful winner. And while Biden may have, it even seems most likely, won, it isn't right that the media gets to claim him as the winner so soon with all these discrepancies.

It's also awful funny that huge states like Florida, Texas, and California could count the votes in a timely manner, but swing states with 1/5 to 1/10th of the population are having so much trouble.

It's already mess because of few of these states, and it's looking to get worse in the coming days. If he loses, you know Trump will no doubt do a national lawsuit that will go to the Supreme Court. There is enough evidence of fraud with the dead people and non resident ballots, as well as enough suspicious activities for Trump to get them to look at it. And remember, the Supreme Court is currently 6-3 (more like 5-4 because of Roberts) with conservative views.

This is why we needed a blow out one way of the other, or states to have enough competence to get all results in by the end of Election Day.

The Stocks are still on the rise, especially since Trump isn't officially defeated. Word is they won't tank if Trump is defeated as long as the Republicans keep this Senate, which would prevent Biden from doing anything crazy in office (removing tax cuts, passing new green deal, and giving statehood to DC and Puerto Rico). If the Republicans lose the Senate, the stocks sound like they will plummet due to the radical agenda that will have the opportunity to pass.

Hopefully if Biden wins and it stands, the Republicans can keep the Senate so the whole structure of the country doesn't change.

Nevada is ridiculous. Just count the damn votes. It's not like 16% of votes are late main in ballots. Apparently the remaining votes are likely to consist of a lot of Biden votes, so if that's true, get it over with. They even called Arizona as a Biden win despite counting not having finished.

This election is a big scam. I?m sorry, but it is. Pennsylvania said last night that they had 1.4 million left. This morning they changed to over 2 million. They continue to find (add) more and now are saying hundreds of thousands still left. Bunch of croc. I wouldn?t mind if Biden won cleanly, but this is stinking to high heaven. Not just suspicious activity, but now fraudulent behavior. We need to bump to the Supreme Court and redo this whole thing without mail in that weren?t legitimately requested. No one will ever trust the system again if they don?t.

Well Nevada has come out and said they won't be finished counting until November 12th. Ridiculous.

Florida finished in the first night with over ten million votes.

Biden has won. Notice I did not say officially as this all but surely going to go to the Supreme Court. Doubt it will change anything though.

Says a lot about the world we live in though, how the hate of an individual could garner such results where a man nearing (or already hit) senility gets elected to the most important job in the world. I hope everyone is ready to live with any repercussions that might come, especially if the republicans lose the senate. The entire landscape of the country could radically change if that were to occur.

I am hoping and praying for the best. If it stands, expect for Trump to Grover Cleveland it and run in 2024.

Oh, and I love how several of those celebrating in the streets in the highly concentrated democratic areas are not wearing masks. I thought that was their thing.

I doubt Trump runs again in 2024. Pence for sure though.

It definitely speaks to the amount of divisiveness in this country when a candidate with no redeeming qualities besides "at least I'm not the other guy" wins the most votes in history. With the republicans likely to keep the Senate expect 4 years of stagnation.

He'll only be 78. I'm willing to bet a 78 year old Trump is far greater than present Biden or even Bernie for that regard. If he's alive, he'll run. And I wouldn't be shocked if he won again, another fu from the people to the elites after what looks, at least to many of his supporters, a shame.

I get he won, but it does look really bad. Up WAY big, and then overnight everything changed. Like huh? And then factoring in the fact that the Republicans gained in the house and (likely) keep the senate, like what? It's really like he was the only one not to win, making it appear fishy to his supporters.

But whatevs.

The Republicans MUST keep the Senate. Make Biden do as he says he can do and work across the aisle. It's better than the socialists of his party trying to puppet him into doing whatever they want.

Trump is a certainty to attempt to run for President again. Whether the Republican party want him to remains to be seen. But Trump's ego is too big for him not to have another go.

What could potentially happen, is for Biden and his eventual replacement (probably Harris) to have an unproductive 4 years, and for Trump to run again and say 'look, I told you this would happen' etc. Given how close this election was, there's a decent chance that some people will either switch to Republican, or just not vote like in 2016 and earlier elections.

Trump isn't helping himself with the way he's carrying on though. Warrior, you can't say that Trump doesn't write his own tweets xD

He also received over 70 million votes. Not really an ego thing when people want him. lol

It would/will be interesting to see. Biden is already decrepit, so it would have to be against Harris. Question is if Pence would again be the VP.

Actually, Trump isnt hurting anything by not conceding. 90% of his followers are devoted to him unconditionally, so no harm no foul. He doesnt write all of his tweets - Do you really think he write the ones with all technical legal babble? No, just the ones with usual babble. lol

But 95% of his tweets are just babble xD

Many people aren't taking Trump's fraud accusations seriously, because they don't take him seriously. Tweeting wild accusations in all caps just makes it worse. If he honestly believes that voter fraud has taken place, he should either tweet sensibly, or get one of his staffers to write it like he does for 5% of his tweets.

I don't really pay attention to his tweeting, and I don't know why people put so much emphasis on it. It's funny to me that people allow themselves to get all worked up over something so silly. Do people seriously have nothing better to do? And if people don't care for him and his tweeting, then why let it get your goat?

People should take it seriously. Not since dead people voting for JFK that put him over the edge in Illinois and Kansas has there been such issues. Bush & Gore was doesn't even compare to how bad this looks. Nothing may have happened and everything might be on the up and up, but it stinks due how it all fell about.

An elected President shouldn't tweet the way he does though. He obviously doesn't care what people think about him, but it doesn't make him seem like a President. Tweeting in all caps with exclamation marks isn't presidential.

People jumped onto the narrative of Trump being a racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic etc person, and let their hatred for him grow by the day. That's why his tweets get so much attention. People want to hate him. Then they see his tweets, and get more outraged. It sort of becomes an obsession. That's why people were so invested in voting for Biden, who is extremely bland. It was anyone but Trump.

In reality he is definitely sexist, but he's no different to other Presidents when it comes to the other points. In fact, he is one of, if not the least anti-gay Republican President ever, yet he gets called a homophobe somehow.

Why does all caps bother people? Do people really take it as someone yelling? I literally use caps in my writing whenever I want to emphasize something, and I know many are the same. I'm sure Trump is doing so for the same; people take stuff on the internet way too seriously. Plus, Trump is older. My dad is in his late fifties, and when we first got him a cell phone a few years back, he wanted to just have caps lock on to save on time. My father also majored in business, and back then, they were required to use block lettering. Literally everything my dad writes is in caps. lol

It's called Trump Derangement Syndrome. And the way the last four years have gone, capped by this election, a lot of people have serious issues with it. I don't care enough about anyone to waste my time obsessing over them, unless it's some hot chick. XD

I hate it when anyone in the world tries to call anyone sexist, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, etc. Do people not under the level of discrimination one who have to show towards either of those groups of people in order to properly classify them as such? It's ridiculous. Trump isn't sexist. He isn't racist. He isn't homophobic. He isn't xenophobic. A true sexist wouldn't campaign for votes for a woman, nor would they include many throughout their cabinet. Pretty sure they also wouldn't nominate one for the Supreme Court either, just saying. If anything, he speaks his mind and is rather unfiltered. No one in the history of the world hasn't thought to themselves about the appearance of others, Trump just says what he's thinking out loud (usually about those who have already come at him). I played sports through high school. Trust me, I've heard some pretty dirty things when in the locker room.

Trump just received the most black votes, Latino votes, LBGTQ votes than any other Republican in the history of elections. Pretty sure people wouldn't vote for someone they thought as racist, homophobe, sexist. Come on now, people. He has only struggled with suburban woman, but that goes back to not always thinking before he speaks (or openly choosing not to do so). However, this time around had more to woman voting for the Biden Card because it included Harris, even though she's like the most smug person I've ever seen.

There are many valid criticisms against Trump - the two I've never understood are that he's homophobic and anti-Semitic. I really don't think he cares one bit about sexual preference, and don't believe he's ever said anything about it one way or another. And the anti-Semitic allegations are just ridiculous, his daughter and grandchildren are Jewish and he's the most pro-Israel president we've had in living memory.

It's hard to be excited for someone whose biggest redeeming quality is "at least I'm not the other guy".

Trump's tweets are usually pretty dumb, though. I'm of the opinion that the President's twitter should be used for official press releases, etc. and him using it for personal use opens him up to attacks that tend to take over the conversation and distract from more important things.

The only valid statements about Trump is that he's unfiltered and his twitter has a mind of its own. I don't let the latter affect me, especially not to the point of obsession like some do. lol

There hasn't really been a President that has used social media like Trump. Plus, it is his personal account. I get your points, but it's not like an official president account or office of the president, you know?
