I am sure a lot of people have that mindset in this day and age. Least amount of work for maximum profit.

Which on a certain level I understand. No one really likes working harder for the same result. It's just that there are so many obvious things they can do to improve the games.

I completely agree, but I doubt that will change anything. The money train will continue no matter if they step up their game or keep to the status quo.

Game comes out in a week and it's been leaked online, and reception seems quite positive. General praise for mixing up the gameplay while still being on the easy side. Graphics still seem quite disappointing for a game in 2022, even considering it's on the Switch - game's like Zelda Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey look fine. Arceus still looks quite barren.
On the whole it seems like a nice refreshing take on the formula, at least as a building block. I'll be reading some more impressions as the week continues and I'm sure I'll end up picking it up.

I was refreshing my computer like crazy when the game was datamined. lol
I heard that every last thing has been positive, no negative aspects whatsoever. Graphics can always be better, but I think it is a step in the right direction for Pokemon. Move graphics look awesome in battle.
Glad to see Dialga and Palkia getting new forms. I heard Giratina will be next in Summer DLC (if that happens).

I see Sanzano is having to do the Arceus guide for the site. That has to be a nightmare since this game is massive.

Yeah, I don't envy him that job. From what I've been reading it seems like there's a massive amount of quests and stuff you have to do. I'm still debating picking it up. Reviews are positive, but a lot of it is "here's why it's a good building block but there are also a good amount of flaws, but we're going to give it a 8/9 anyway because it's a fresh take on Pokemon".

Yeah, I have read it is one of the best Pokemon experiences but also one of the messiest. I am more about content though, so I will probably find it awesome. lol
