Marth is the best. I call Luigi second best regarding the tiers. That's because I have trouble fighting people that rush in to fight, like my brother. He is always Fox. =D Just my opinions. >.<

One, Bowser doesnt get sent packing as easily

there is a substantial difference between "you're best character" and "the best character". That is exactly the reason why bowser would never stand a chance in any competitive tourney.

it's not even a matter of naming three things bowser has over marth (the inability of which should bring to question the hard evidence behind your "opinion" on who is the best), but moreso a matter of understanding how the game works. it's not a matter of "opinion" so much as "interpretation" - and without the support of the physics of the game, some interpretations fall flat. "bowser is the best" is one interpretation that simply holds no water - some of us could talk all day about how fox is better, how sheik is better, how marth is better, how captain falcon is better, how peach is better than bowser. fact of the matter is, bowser so totally lacks the defense to deal with pressure that he has trouble winning against anyone.

Bowser is one of the low-rate characters in the game. One of the best ways to state that Marth is better than Bowser is the the best known player in the world uses Marth.

well, true that Ken uses marth, but there are other reasons why Ken always wins.(ken always seems to be trying to persuade people that marth isn't top tier, for some reason. If marth isn't, then we have many solid upper tier characters to take his place). Azen's choice of character is a little more interesting, because he is good with quite a lot of characters(!). I've tried but failed to identify his best one, but I assume his chances would be best if he were to use fox.

Bowser I think would be to slow. The attacks from him are to easy for Marth to dodge and then which gives Marth a time to attack Bowser. This is simple logixc if you come to think of it

Once again, it's just all in how you USE the character. One of my friends beat Giga Bowser with Jigglypuff in just 4-7 mins!!!

All fighting games have tier lists, some are more obvious than others (Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Snk vs. Capcom Chaos, for example), while others are almost balenced, but fail to be completely balanced.

I have only one rating:

Fox: 10.0 > all other characters, that is my opinion, mainly cause I can pwn ppl without them knowing WTF happened in the last 2 seconds. His wave-dashing skills really distort players.
