No, when the meteor hit he went into a depression, he thought he could never keep up with Kakarot's power, but it's that motivation of his anger that allowed him to ascend to Super Saiyan. Therefore allowing him to destroy the meteor, or the transformed after he destroyed the meteor, it's been a very long time since I saw that episode.

he thought that because trunks was a super saiyan,frieza says something like "those eyes,that hair",then I think he's like very scared and trunks says something like "goku is not the only super saiyan".

The answer is because when Freeza looked into Trunks eyes, he said they had looked just like goku's when he went super saiyan.
