You Have Managed To Kill The Great Forum

Why and How i do not know, but after viewing the posts throughout the forum, I have to say it does not fulfil my expectations, it isn't close to the quality it once was. The design appears to be pretty half assed, and isn't even propper forum software as far as I can tell.

Just for the record I was at the original SC as Madman/James Turnbull/Whatever else I was...Anyone here I know?

Thats a pretty short-sighted comment.
A lot of work has gone into roducing this forum from the ground up rather than just trying to integrate a Vb or something similar.
The forum as it is now, fits in with the rest of out website, and this is just an extension of it.
With almost 5,000 posts with about 5 weeks of being open isn't bad at all, so I think there are many people out there that do enjoy using this board.

I don't mean to offend, but I really am disappointed. SC was the greatest forum I was ever at originally. I have onyl seen a small amount of people from the old SC, and I know they know it exists because I have spoken with them, they fell like I do, in that it is seen as not as great as it was. I mean, why are the forums hidden under their categories?

nah i only signed up in september this year.........
but i have known about SC since i was like 10!!!
i never noticed a forum then............

But for some time it's become a venue for a posting race...the Say Hello thread grew 20 pages overnight!

This place is a spamfest.
But it's also not a vB or a UBB, so I guess you could expect that.
I re-registered here so I could at least do SOMETHING to get this back on track =/

The old SC forums merged into Gaming Update years ago, this is a completely different incarnation and suits the site better.
Sure, things are not perfect, but we've only just started the boards and have a lot of work to do. Using a Vb or something similar was not an option as we wanted to be able to integrate it into our existing site better.
Repute and Nitrazius - I doubt you are not even contributors to Super Cheats anymore, this is a new forum, with new members and a different angle - try to leave the past behind.

I have been on SC 2 days after Team SC joined so Ive been here over 1 and a half years.
And you may not think that Team SC is doing a good job but i do!

i enjoy the board too

yeah the board is great!
but i don't forget about the actual games bit!

You misunderstand me, I do fully realize these forums have only just been started up and that it will improve. I was commenting on the present situation of the board. Because, let's be serious: people are competing to see which topic gets the most posts. =/
Besides, it's hard for me to leave the past behind when at every chance I get at GU I call myself an SC'er, haha.
Anywho, I've tried contributing a few times but the few stuff I had was already on the main site, but I'll try again later >:O
