you can catch sharshark with the normal rod. i have caught loads of sharsharks with it :D

you know theres two exits from your farm. go out the top one and walk straight over the path and thers a little dirt track that leads to the water - thats where i usually fish

i usually fish under the bridge, ya know when the current moves the bobber down with the current and it cant go further down the river so it ends up under the bridge, i cought a 103 cm sharshark there 3 days ago

I read that you get it from Galen in Chapter 2, if you go to his house before he leaves in the morning. But you'll need to befriend him before then, since he won't accept gifts in Chapter 2.

actually i got the "super rod" in the fith year from Galen, so i guess it doesnt matter which year=)

so many years so the super rod you can get it at what ever year dosent matter thays is good to know i still didnt get it i am now in my third year and a half

Alright thanks for all the responses I found out how to get it, well you have to befriend Galen, and the earliest you can get the rod is in season two. Thanks again everyone. Record for Sharshark in cm is 106 for me
