In Aquatic Mine, there is a part where you get the lvl 3 water switch. There is also a monument looking thing. THe action window opens, and it says Look. When I look, Knuckles said, "This place looks familiar!" What's the thing he looked at for?
What's there to say? My site's closed.

It's called an Ancient Shrine - it's like a home for the Master Emerald and you'll see the actual one near the end of the game. Once you get a character's Mystic Melody, you can play a song by the Ancient Shrine's to do new things like creating some platforms or opening a door in this case. You have to use it on the 3rd Mission of each Stage to Find the Lost Chao.

To get Knuckles' Mystic Melody, go to Wild Canyon, float up the wind thing in the middle and make your way to the lonely statue. Above the statue's head is a picture - dig through it to find a secret room with this Upgrade in it!

You'll need mystic melody to get about 95% of the lost chao(or 99%). Wait till you look for the lost chao in Radical Highway, it's kinda tricky.

Yeah - it is tough, here's a description - hope it helps...

After the 2nd Checkpoint, you will do two Loops, then run down a Ramp. Make sure to press A while on it to Bounce on a Spring and finally onto another Road. Destroy the Robot, jump onto the Pole and press A while upward to land on the Moving Lifts. Wait for the Beetle to drop its Electric Field, Home Attack it and the other two (A+A), then destroy the Robot ahead and jump on the Springs. You should now be on the upper part of the Bridge and there should be a Golden Beetle here. Next to Omochao is a Bridge Rail with Rings on it - do NOT go on this one, take the Rail with no Rings on the other side! Get on the Rail and Crouch to gain speed, you will land on the other part of the Bridge and in the middle will be an Ancient Shrine. Play Mystic Melody and some Floating Platforms will appear, follow them to the Lost Chao.

PHEW!

P.S. To get an 'A' Rank, you'll need to do this in less than 2:30!
