Bulbasaur:Strong against Rock/water types;strongly weak against fire and several others;evolves quicker.
Charmander:Strong against Grass;can hold it's own against most;very weak to water and lightning based attacks.
Squirtle:Strong against Fire and Rock;weak agaisnt Grass/lightning types.
Overall, Charmander is one of the best.

pikachu, i think he means that bulbasaur is the best bcoz it is good against the first two gyms. but charmander and squirtle are great in the end of the game. so i guess you just have to be up for a challenge no matter wat.

Charmander. Water and fire Pokemon are fairly easy to find compared to a good fire.
