Plus Aerodactyl can get Rock Head, which means you can give him Double-Edge. Double-Edge is better than Return. PLus, Earthquake, plus STAB'd Rock Slide and STAB'd Aerial Ace or Wing Attack and you have a killer in your hands.
I think Swellow looks cooler.

aerodactyl is just the sh!t plain and simple. his crazy speed makes him really useful plus high attack makes him a halfway decent physical sweeper

Am I the only one that prefers Pidgeot to Swellow? He Defenses are all higher and so is HP so he lasts longer, his Attack is only a little bit lower, but he is alot slower.
Anyway on Aero, yeah he's a good pokemon but I still prefer Dodrio.

If a pokémon has high Speed and Attack it's not really going to need defences anyway will it?
I prefer Aerodactyl as it's more unique, but I like Dodrio a lot too, it learns Drill Peck.

yah, i guess dodrio is a good pokemon but i still like rayquaza because he has great stats and a huge move pool.

Pity Gyarados can't learn any Flying moves (except HP [Flying] which is a pain to get on him).

Lol, I got lucky this time through Ruby. The first Magikarp I caught had an Adamant Nature and HP Flying. But it's power was really low

that's what I thought, I think it's kind of pointless to have him as a flying type since the only flying move he can learn is hidden power, I think he'd be much better as water/ dragon like kingdra with only one weakness.
