Look this may sound retarted but how do you do action replay codes on PS2?

You add new game , add new code put in the code, open your ps2 but dont turn it off, put in the game and there you go

Well, I am having the same problem with my GameShark. I can't activate ANY codes for any game, even the ones that are preloaded into it. I have GameShark 2, Version 1.1
(I know that when you hit X on the cheats you want, they flash, but they don't activate when I put the game in. It's San Andreas)
