Summons?

Can anyone tell me what Summons are in th egame and how many please

there are 13 espers in the game. each one represents a starsign (capricorn, cancer, etc)

they have a whole new cast of espers this time, so theres no bahamut or ifrit or shiva. but the espers look good. some of the espers are named after the final bosses in previous FF games (Zeromus, Exdeath, etc) and some of the names are from FF Tactics' Totema (Adramelech, Ultima, etc)

Are there requirements to learning how to use the espers?
The reason why i'm asking is because i'm having problems learning

when you beat the esper in battle, the esper should show up on the license board. only one character can learn an esper though, once one character has the license, the esper disappears from the other characters boards

as far as i know thats all you need to do

The license for the esper Mateus is on the license board but none of my cheracters can learn it.for some reason it wont let my characters learn it but i dont know why.i've gotten two other esper and it let me learn them.The only one it wont let me learn is mateus.

No i didnt have the lisence next to it. So I went ahead and got the lisence next to it and it worked. thx for the help.

What are all locations of the espers if anyone knows put them on here
please. And if u dont know where to find all the espers if u could
put the locations of the espers u do know where to find.

I got the game so I'll help you once I beat it

I don't have this game yet, but it's nice to see they use espers as they did in Final Fantasy 6.

Does these also give your character who has the esper special abilities and magic?

I don't know yet but apparntly you gain the use of weapons and skill by gaining LP

well i got the game and i'm not that far but i got the first esper and i used it but i didn't know what to do after it got on the field. all the stronger monster were attacking me and he didn't do anything.

If your esper survives long enough it uses a deathblow which pritty much ends the battle with your foe's crippled corps at your feet

i have the game..im about mid away i think..ill post the espers later for everyone to look...i gots the book which helps a lot even though its wrong on a lot of things but its right most of the time...and what you do is once you summon the esper the character the summoned it is the only one out there with the esper..and no you dont learn any new skill but you gain more mp like when you get quickenings,when you summoner the esper just fight normally and try to keep your esper out as long as you can and watch yourself to cuz once you or the esper dies the esper fades then you go back to normal fighting with you allies..this also accures when the esper does his final move either when the esper lasts long enough or he is about to die but doesnt get killed...this sorda a rare accurance sence uasly they will be killed when they have low HP unless your fighting normal monsters and not a boss of any kind...if you need anything else ill be glad to help,but i may not be able to tell you everything as that im still playing the game and i got a ways to go, Thank You

Thing I like about the Espers is that they give them a background story, allthow they don't have the super boss status they did in Tactics its still cool to see theis monster on your side.
