You can get a Friend Bow at Mt. Faraway on Level 30, you need a Key to open it. You can keep visiting Mt. Faraway as many times as you want to collect More Friend Bows.

Bring a Key to Mt Faraway and search Floor 30 or higher. You cna get more if you lose it.

okay heres what you do to recruit groudon, try to get the friend bow first, stand right in front of groudon and make sure you are the one to deliver the final blow if you have a high enough level he should join you no problem

Friend Bow: lv.30 Mt. Faraway (40lvs), key necessary , where you get Ho-oh and after you pass Fiery Field, Lightening Field, and Northwind Field(all 30lvs).

I'm Level 100 with the Friend Bow already...
Got him and the other dogs...Finally. Mew and Mewtwo are next!
Any hints or tips for recruiting Mew? Three times through Buried Relic with room, Friend Bow and right friend area, but no luck at all.

(must have the music box)
Recruitment rate: 0.9% and barely appear compared to the rest of the pokemon.
Best Chance: lvs 36-39
L30 Sandshrew - 72.08% - 195 EXP
L40 Mew - 0.90% - 1225 EXP
L 5 Shedinja - 27.02% - 4 EXP
the rest range from 31.3% to 66.9%
Haven't caught (recruited) it yet but that is the best stategy.
Also, since it know Transform, pay attention to the Messgae Log.
It'll let you know if Mew is on the Floor.

It never does that for me...Thanks for the info though.
Mew is a pain in the butt...and Jirachi and Celebi are kind of weak...I like Legendaries that are big and know mucho powerful moves.
