It was a filler, so it has nothing to do with the current happenings, Besides, it sorta sucks anyway, But the filler were in now is actually entertaining :P.

Anyway, I don't think Starrk is dead yet, As we have yet to see Shunsui's Bankai, I mean, unless Aizen has even more powerful Arrancar in hiding, Shunsui will have to use Bankai against Starrk.

I SO don't want Starrk to die, as that would mean Lilynette would die, and those two are to funny together to be killed, plus, they don't seem all that evil...

That is true but they actually have their own thoughts now whereas normal hallows barely have any control over themselves.

They still at one point had to devour a human soul to become an arrancar, even if Aizen used the hougyoku to turn them into arrancar, Starrk had to at one point had to devour a human soul as a hollow.

Yeah you may be right, but the arrancar came from hollows that devoured other hollows in order to get stronger and then they all joined together to make a Menos one of the hollows in the menos took over the rest and then they became achuchas or however it's spelled then they ate othe achuchas and became Vastos then Aizen made them into arrancar. Anyhoo I'm sure you're right about the whole devouring a human soul thing.

Well, yes and no, The plot is filler, but the Character designs were made by Kubo himself, so the Spirits themselves ain't technically filler...

Well on a different note I'm sure that neither Starrk or Halibel are dead since Starrk didn't dissapear and honestly Sosuke's not that good at killing important people :p. 
Oh it was updated today maybe I should read th chapter before saying anything.
Edit: nah they're not dead and Halibel's Fraccion souldn't be dead yet either since Yamamoto said he would let them walk away.

Exactly and I'm sure halibel and her fraccion are gonna attack aizen later down the road besides the rule with this show/manga is if they don't disappear they're not dead.
