Obi wan - possibility of the chosen one?

But still anakin dies at the end of episode 6 and obi dies in 4 and also anakin kills the emporer so he brings balance the force and hes the chosen one sooooo[color=red][/color]

Oh for the love of christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He does not die in Episode 4 technically due to becoming one with the Force. He properly dies after Episode 6 with Yoda and Anikan in which they both properly travel the "other world" i.e. the dead. When they are one with the Force they were effectively an undead, but not a zombie.
The Force can actually be scientifically proven to have almost a living entitiy and so becoming one with the Force you still have a LIVING entity.

I even have proof watch episode 1 and you'll see that Qui-Gon Jinn says "........he is the chosen one......"

In any case just cause Qui-Gon said it was the case doesn't mean it is because quite frankly, he could've easily been wrong.

Also I think Obi-Wan probably is the chosen one, he killed Darth Maul, Trained Anakin, which if he didn't do then the Galaxy would never become the Empire, he trained Luke, and managed to defeat Anakin, over all I think Obi-Wan is quite possibly the chosen one.

I see no way how he could possibly be the chosen one.

In the scheme of things, he really isn't that important. Sure, he trains Aniken, but that's it. Everyone else does the rest.

that means nothing and how did he defeat anikin or are you talking about Ep.3

anakin couldn't be the chosen one because he helped create the empire. it is Luke.

And quite frankly, one statement from one great Jedi Master doesn't necessarily make it true. It just means it's perhaps more reliable since the amount of experience he had.
However, with the actions that Obi-Wan carried out, it just all balances towards him.

Yoda,Mace Windu,Qui-gon,and Obi-wan have all said something like "........he is the chosen one......"

or "I thought you where the chosen one!" in Obi-Wan's case.

Anyways...Mace Windu said correctly in Episode III: "So the Prophecy says." in which Yoda responded with: "A Prophecy misread maybe." meaning they could be wrong about Anakin.

The reason why I changed my mind was because I was in the exact same position as you (argument wise) and I just went away and thought about it for a while and I realized Oddball was right. In a sense Oddball succeeded in his argument in philosophical terms because he won me over to his side of the argument.

I just asked my friend what he thinks about obi-wan being the chosen one here's what he said.

Your friend is committing the fallacy of "Attacking the person". You can guess what that means.
Just cause he is "gay" does not entail that he cannot be the Chosen One. For all we know Anikan could've been secretly bisexual.
