What car is best to beat him I sold my RX7,Porchse Cayman(not sure if its a cayman) and Lambo Gallado to buy the Corvette ZO6 ...do you think it was a good choose?

its a good car but sadly its got rubbish handling along with all the exotic cars shame they dont do an awesome tuner car but yeh the corvette is ok my choice would be the porshe carrera gt (sorry if spelling iz out a bit)

To beat Darius, you're best off keeping that Corvette, it's the best handling muscle car in the game and if you set the engine and transmission to acceleration, you'll probably beat him easily on the circuit. The canyon is a bit tougher, but if you keep your cool and drive fast and carefully, you should be right.

Try (if you want) a mich. Lancer, mod it to the way you want and you should beat him easily.

Corvette by far is good to beat Darius. Evo IX is also a great choice though XD

well i finshed my career using the corvette so you can close this topic if you like.. ^_^

I kicked daruis *** at the first corner of the canyon. And i just had a race type engine in the corvette

I tried to beat him in my evo, and it didn't work, but then i beat him in a nearly stock skyline, with 200ish points left.

his car had maxed out stats but my corvette had maxed out alireation (sorri i cant spell)

I beat him with the Corvette, and only NOS upgraded.

I never upgraded my cars in the game.

The best tactic is also the easiest for the canyon, but is quite risky. Just drive and slam right into on the3 first corner. If done correctly, you'll overtake him and win after 10 seconds. If you stuff up, you're pretty much spinning out as you realise you stuffed up, so you'll need to try again.

I accidentally passed him with the Corvette on my second profile so i won pretty quick...

But the older profile i had...it took me some time...since my car was an SLR

Yeah, the SLR is one of the worst top-end Exotics in the game...kicks @$$ in real life though...

Well heres the thing...My lil bro think he could beat Darius...I was still at school and when i arrived...the SLR was there..i was like O.o? WTF!! Now i used it to beat Darius...and boy it wasn't easy

Yeah, it's never easy beating darius with Exotics... I had heaps of trouble with beating him in a Murcielago (which in real life would kick an R8's behind any day!!).

But this is a game. Not real life. Understand that.

This game is far more than real....I wonder if the next NFS...Bugatti is included as the fastest car and your going to beat it with a Corvetter or a Murcielago..

Back on topic...i mod the Corvette to match my handling skills...

Yes but if you're going to have licensed cars you're going to have to make sure that the speed, acceleration and handling are similar to real life

eg. In real life, the fastest Exotic in the game would be the SLR McLaren, but instead both the slower Murcielago and Carrera GT, even the slowest Tier 3 Exotic in real life (Audi R8) surpass it.

Sure, NFS Carbon is more along the lines of an arcade-y racer which is more realistic than Burnout, but less realistic than other racers, but still, licensed cars = more realism.
