i saved the survivors from the cult but they wont keep up.and the survivors i saved from jo are the same!!!!!!help me

When you beat the Cult leader did you pick up the Book he dropped because it Hypnotizes the Survivers to be expressing no fear, by fighting back more often and follow you longer instead of taking their long rest that will make them a easy target for a Zombie which screws you over because you stop, making the whole group an easy target.

All the survivers (on ANY side mission) just die, so I leave them now xD
