I started this topic on a suggestion by another moderator who frequents this forum. This is just so people can count down to the highly and much anticipated Pokemond Pearl. A similar forum will be started for those who are getting Pokemon Diamond only under that Forum.

if it is that long, then you start you're countdown a month before it is released, because that is what we have now

Well if you can read and write english well, (which I know you can do since you post in english), then it doesn't sound like a bad idea to import it from the USA when it's released in April 22, 2007

Lol, I was just saying (for all people, not just him), because some people can only understand some parts of english, so if they got the game in english, it would be kind of hard for them to understand whats going on, and it may have the same confusion as playing a jap. game, which is why I don't want to import a jap. pokemon diamond/pearl. [center]

I was thinking of importing but decided not to as I wouldn't be able to transfer pokemon from my english gba games.

I think because your a pre dominantly English region you probably can import the game and it wouldn't make any difference. My Pokemon Sapphire, I bought it in London England when I was over there on assignment and I still trade to my Ruby, Emerald, LG/FR, along with the game cube games.....even still....you might want to check into that.
Hopefully someone on this site can clarify that for you. maybe you can do some surfing on the net to find out if the game has any variations from US English to Jolly Old England....but from my experience I didn't have any regional locking out with my game, but maybe I just got lucky.

Didn't mean to offend. I was just saying I got lucky with mines I bought my sapphire over in the UK....then all my other games were bought in the US and I was still able to trade between all games.
Well its up to you to wait or import. Kinda suck you gotta wait longer than us, but we been waiting for months as well..
We in America are so happy to be on the final count down to release.
