HELP!!!!! I have found a red square at the top of the left hand island and cant seem to do anything with it?

I don't know what you mean for the first question but for the 2nd: you have to complete missions..once you get to the mission "from hero to Zero" you can go to the other island.

i dont know the asnwer to your question but i need help badly i got to the mision where you've got to get the drugs back off the cops but i cant get the drugs off the back of the truck and when i did i couldnt get the car how the hell do you do it?!?!?!

just drive the chopper directly over the object and make sure the magnet on the bottom of the chopper touches the object.
