Best FF game?

Hi i've only play FFXII which one out of all of them do people think is the best?

Well my personal favourite in terms of story is FF VI. FF VII is a close second.

FF X no doubt about they had the best characters best stroyline best everything!

This or FFIX, 9 was four discs of fun, I played it when I was 10 or so, I remember thinking that the main chars swords were cool.

I've only played 12, i don't like 10, but I hear 7 is good. I have played 10 actually, I just didn't like it.

Can I say i like them all? :D

X is good story
IX is good characters
XII is amazing graphics

and VII i havent gotten round to playing yet

I have heard that VIII is bad though :\

The stories of X and XII were a let down compared to the other FF games IMO

Well they were alright, but they were way too straight forward. The previous games had longer, more complex epic stories, that usually had a twist sooner or later. You could start playing the game from the beginning, and it would end up completly different at the end

well cos i'v onle played from 10 - 12 (not 11)

i'll say

FFX (cos i've beat it an all)
then
FFXII (well i ant beat it yet so i don't know the over all of it)
last
FFX-2 (beat it and ant as good as the others)

well I think;

FFX-The best of...well everything I cant fault this game one bit.

FFVIII-Im not sure why I like this game so much but maybe coz its the game that got me into FF.

FFX-2-Great game not as good as X but good in it own way, I would of changed abit of the game and made it longer.

FFVII-Great Storyline even in bits I didnt understand it but I would love it more if it made better graphics.

FFXII-Great graphics but bad storyline, hard to understand what anyone say they say it werid and names in the game are to confusing to learn.

FFIX-An ok game but didnt like how small everything was or the storyline which just got werider and werider as it went along.

Dierge Of Cerberus FFVII-A very dissappionting game. Very short nothing like any FF game. The only good bit was seeing stuff from FFVII in better graphics.

FF Crystal Chronicles-The worst game in the FF series and I would never play it again. Enough said.

I liked IX, but I think after 7 all of them are amazing (I need my non grid movement)

X-2 would be my only exception because it was too feminine and just ehh....

XII is great. But it lacks a lot that make it a killer FF (in my opinion), the new battle system is great, but I liked the old one better. I don't think any FF will EVER be as talked over as 7. It was a revolution, and those don't come often, even in the gaming world.

I forgot about X-2. Way too cheesy. It was awful. The battle system was pretty good, but the story sucked

For me it's VII. Way better storyline than any other.
