rare weapons,how to get em

in this thread just post stuff about rare weapons(saggittarus bow, tournesol, whale whisker etc.) and how ya can get em.

I ahve Whale Whisker... Or is it Dragon Whisker...? I got it in the Pharos.

I was hoping someone would create a thread like this i am too lazy to start one. I have demonsbane (i think that is what it is calle) got in it the tomb of Raithwall after defeating the First demon wall.

Yeah that's not THAT rare but it is a bit hard to get.

hey your back, welcome back . From memory there is a chest after you beat the first demon wall on either your left or your right, which can contain demonsbane not sure on the actual %chance but you can just leave and come back again as is is a chest that respawne. Rikku994 has a better knowlege of the game than me so can probably tell you better, it's about 2 weeks since i was in the tomb of Raithwall.

im lookin for the weapon whale whisker,does anyone know where to get it or what you need to sell to the bazaar for it? i have alot of rare weapons, for instance i found a level 3 katana from an enemy somewhere that had + 80 somtin i think

to get the ultima weapon you've got to go down a few floors on the tower where you have to fight that scientists esper and im pretty sure you could find another rare weapon on the same level but i dont know the exact level of the weapons and its totally random so dont bet on getting it the first time

ive got the dragon whisker from the pharos. you can steal 8-fluted pole from the abelisk rare game at the ridorana cataract

I have trouble finding rare game... I'm very unlucky.

Can somebody tel me how to get fomalhaut because i would like Balthier to have it.

i think its in a chest at the cerobi steppe. im not sure what the % chance of the chest appearing is and im not sure what part of the cerobi steppe its in

Equip a Diamond Armlet and search a bunch of chests.

Fomalhaut its at the same exact spot where you kill the antlion

Other Info: First you need access to the Exodus spawn area. Then when you return you can fight Ash Wyrm. To chain with Ash Wyrm you have to leave two areas back and then return.

I have the Deathbringer 90 +90 and 1 hit KO effect.

You just steal it from Icthon in Special Op Sector 5 in Barheim Passage.

I have Durandal: +99ATT and to get it you have to sell 3 lifewicks, 2 emperor scales and 1 Leshach halycon to Bazaar.

I also have Toursenol: +140ATT and +25 evasion and to get that you have to sell 3 gem steels, 3 emyreal souls, and 3 serpentariuses to bazzar.

u dont have 2 beat the demon wall to get the demonbane, u could buy it too, thats how i got mine
