Role Play: Crusade for Reality

"Good point." Ragnarok said, trying not to laugh.

The Moblins led Chaos and Ragnarok to a dark portal near Lake Hylia.
"How long has the war been going on?" asked Chaos.
"About three hours," grunted one of the moblins.
"Great," muttered Chaos. "The bloody thing's nearly over. Ragnarok, we've gotta move!"
He jumped through the portal.

Ragnarok followed suit, emerging on the other side next to chaos. "Where the hell could he be," Ragnarok though, looking around the area and seeing almost nothing.

"There," said Chaos, pointing to a huge pile of rubble in the middle of the Dark Plains. "The ruins of the Tower of Annihol. My father's headquarters. At least, it was, until he had to destroy it to try and kill Link."

Ragnarok glanced back and forth between the rubble and chaos. "And what makes you think that rogue is in some ruins of what used to be an awesome throne?"

"Good point," said Chaos. "He'd have to rebuild the tower, so take us forward... one year."

"Bit of a leap, dont you think?" He asked with a sigh. "But if you say so..." he added holding out the sphere of the future.

"Trust me, it'll work," said Chaos, placing one hand on the Sphere. "Sphere of the Future!"

They were warped again, to the exact same spot but a few things had changed. the main difference was that the large pile of rubble in front of them was now a castle.
"Holy ****!" Ragnarok said.

"That's more like it," said Chaos, glancing at the castle. "Now can we go reclaim my kingdom?"

"Sure, why not?" Ragnarok smirked walking towards it.

Chaos floated towards the castle.
"This won't take long," he said. "Get in, kick Rogue's face in, get my key back... Business as usual."

"Hope you're right..." Ryu muttered.

Chaos arrived at the castle gates.
"Now, if we're quiet, we should be able to sneak in undetected," he said to Ragnarok. "But I know that's probably beyond the capabilities of the God of war, so just kill everything that comes near you, okay? Not including me, obviously."
He blasted the gate open with a lightning bolt.

Ragnarok ran in past chaos, waiting to be sawrmed with zenites, but nothing came. "He stood up straight. "Are you sure that this is where he ends up? doesnt seem to be much of a guard staff..."

"Trust me, this is the place," said Chaos. "Shade wouldn't lie to me."
"Why's that?" asked Lowthos.
"Two reasons," said Chaos. "One, it's not in his character. And two, he knows I'd kill him if he did. This is the place. No-one entered the Dark World after the war, so only Rogue could have built this place."

"Then would you mind explaining why it isnt swarming with zenites?" Ragnarok asked calmly.

"Good point," said Chaos.
"It is swarming with Zenites," growled Lowthos. "You just can't see them."
Slowly, a vast army of Zenites appeared around them.
"Don't move," said the nearest one. "You are outnumbered."
Chaos sowly raised his hands.
"Okay, you've got me," he said. "I surrender."
He winked at Ragnarok.

Ragnarok stared at him oddly, then rolled his eyes, slowly raising one hand into the air. "Fine."

"Ragnarok, don't try anything stupid," whispered Chaos. "These losers are gonn take us straight to Rogue. Just play along, yeah?"
