Kay, since this got approved, what the hell, could make the place a lot more interesting.
Pairing is where you choose a person that has similar personality and interests as you to pair-up with. It's just for fun, so you can have a buddy around the forum. When you're paired up, you put that you're paired with that person in your sig. NOTE: You can have more than one pair.
