Ladies and gentlemen, I have bad news: Pandaemonium is dead. Nearly.
Three years ago, on the twenty-second of July, the SuperCheats forums were blessed with the presence of a unique and unusual man; a member calling himself Cez. In his time on this forum, he has made numerous achievements, each more spectacular than the last; he invented the concept of Teams and Clans, he was the first member to make ten thousand posts, he brought order and balance to the once-chaotic Fan Fiction and Role Play forum, he won most of the important categories in the SuperCheats awards, and he earned promotion to the rank of Super Moderator. Not necessarily in that order. Pandaemonium was more than merely the greatest member SuperCheats has ever known; he was also the very essence of humour, a standard-bearer for those who sought to bring the light of comedy to the lives of the online masses. An honest man, a proud defender of the downtrodden, a philosopher, a politician, a world-renowned scientist, a famous actor and an exploding wombat? none of these are things he has ever really aspired to be. Over the course of his membership, he has single-handedly fought off attacks from flamers and trolls, the likes of which would send that half-wit Pikachu101 crying to his mother, often without even involving the Administrators. He was, my dear friends, absolutely brilliant and completely irreplaceable, a God among ordinary men? possibly one of the site?s most influential members. He will, I am sure, be sorely missed.
2. Explanation
I will not deny that I am somewhat saddened to be leaving, but circumstances have changed considerably since I joined the site all those years ago. When I joined this forum, I was a bored fourteen-year-old with too much spare time and very little semblance of a social life to fill it. Now, three years on, I am a student at the nationally-renowned Robert Gordon University. Some of you may disagree, as you are quite entitled to, but I do not believe that this forum has any place in my life any more. That is not to say that I have not enjoyed my time here, and I carry with me many fond memories of the time I?ve spent here, but my priorities will undoubtedly be based around studying and socialising rather than posting amusingly-captioned pictures of cats and correcting the spelling of people I?ll never meet.
3. Long list of final remarks
When you ? yes, you, the reader ? saw this thread, you probably expected to see a lengthy list of SC?s regular members and why I think they should kill themselves. If you expected that, then I am sorry to inform you that you were mistaken. Whereas previously I chose to leave the site in a blaze of anger, this time I will take a more respectful leave, for I have no intention of returning and won?t be around to face the ridicule for not flaming the most hated members. To this end, I now present the full and complete list of members who have earned my respect. If your name is missing from this list, it is not because I forgot to add you; it is because you have not earned your place upon it.

Sotek: Too bad you couldn?t have finished your fic earlier. Drop in and visit some time.
Seos San Nekros: Thanks for all you?ve done for me over the years. Good luck with the publishers.

For those mentioned above who wish to contact me, I will still be available via email and MSN, although perhaps less frequently than you may be used to. I will not post my email address here, and I request that everyone else who knows it also refrains from posting it. Moderators are requested to delete any post containing my email address, as I do not wish for it to become public knowledge. Anybody who does not have it but would like to know it, there?s a good chance that you know somebody who knows me. Ask them to ask me if you can have it.

No, you didn?t misread that. The following is the result of a joke I made with Catharsis and Shadow_Lord (among others), stating that this post would be used for all the things I didn?t get a chance to do before. So without further ado...

6. Last Will and Testament
So now you may be wondering, what happens to Fan Fiction and Role Play? Much as I am loath to leave it in the custody of Cataclysm and dark_wolf_33, it seems that this is now the only possible course of action. However, when my mod spot is removed and applications are reopened, I request that the Admins give additional thought to Sotek, should he choose to apply. He is literally the only person suitable for the job who hasn?t already been promoted to Super Moderator. I would also like to point out for the last time that all work and characters posted by me are copyrighted. If they are used without my consent ? and I will find out if this happens ? the one responsible will face severe consequences.
7. Pandaemonium?s real name
?The boy's and girl's name Ceri \ce-ri\ is pronounced kerry. It is of Welsh origin. Of uncertain origin.?
I don?t understand how a name can be of Welsh origin and uncertain origin, but there you go. Pandaemonium?s real name is Ceri Rowland. Only about half a dozen members were aware of this before I made this post. The primary reason for this is that it?s a really, really crap name and I didn?t feel like fending off the inevitable taunts that tend to come with it.
8. Finale
We have now reached the part of the post where I actually leave. This is the last paragraph I will ever post on SuperCheats, so I intend to make it as meaningful as possible, and tidy up the many loose ends I have left behind. To all who hold grudges against me for whatever reason, know that I do not hate you; to hate over the Internet is to waste perfectly good aggression. To all who have been pwned by me, I applaud your efforts and thank you for providing the lulz. To my fellow Winnars, the site would be infinitely duller without your comedic presence. To all who have difficulty in relationships, you would do better to seek the advice of your close friends rather than that of distant strangers, for only your friends can be trusted not to destroy your hopes and dreams as the Winnars are so inclined to do. To all who post old memes and think yourselves incredibly clever, they?re only funny when they?re relevant, and putting any meme into your signature or avatar will kill it completely. To all who post in Teams and Clans, enjoy the corruption of my creation, and to the populace of Fan Fiction and Role Play, originality is always the way forward.
