OK, I didn't see a thread on the last 2 pages, so this is the NHL thread. What's everybody think about the Flyers? They're doing pretty good, I believe.

So what about that 21 year old that was an awesome player when he came in.
Think he will be good this year?

He was good last year so yeah.

Possibly, Anaheim isn't looking too good and can you believe the Red wings 11-2 jeez and the Sens 12-1 my god.

Yes Sens are defiantly in, though the Red Wings are looking like contenders also.

Whoo! My Sens are killing it this year. Robitaille and Richardson were great additions, Alfie is producing offense nd Spezza and Heatley are grabbing a ton of points. 7-0 Pre-Season, 12-1 regular season, we got the Leafs up next so that game is going to be insane with Ottawa destroying those bums.

Your down in Bingo! You guys have molded some nice players for the pro squad up here in OTT. Must be great watching Elliot perform, since he is the future of Ottawa goaltending.

Yes, I love watching them, though my parents rarely take me to games.

Your parents are similar to mine, they would rather watch it on T.V. since all of the stuff that goes on distracts them. Once I get my license (1-2 years) I'm investing in season tickets for myself, so I don't have to worry about sell-outs and it is always great to support your team.

We are 2.5 wins over everyone else in the east. The only sad thing is, is Emery is unhappy. His wrist injury from last year bugged him into the season and now he can not perform greatly. Emery will probably be traded since he is leaving practice early and is missing optional skates that he needs to be at.

15-3 My boys dropped another. This time to the Leafs. Tosakala was on his game, stopped 24 of our shots. Gerber must be getting tired since he is going to every practice, optional or not, and is not resting. He is always working on his game to get better, Emery skips practice and leaves early. Emery is fresh but he has no work ethic.

Ottawa's dropping games like most players get dropped on the ice, 15-2 to 16-5. How do you do that?

It is a 4 game losing streak, nothing to get worried about. Teams do this all the time and just because we hada great start, the streak is getting blown way out of proportion. Eaves was injured and will be out for a month, Robitaille hurt his hand and couldn't play and Alfie hurt his groin. So we are missing 2 very key peices and another role player. So it is no surprise we are losing. We are 0-2-2 in are last 4 so we still grabbed 2 points in the streak and are still top of the conference. Plus, it is a long season ahead. No reason to worry about Ottawa at all.
