[size=12][/size]Methane gas vents in the triangle create methane bubbles that can cause the density of water to drop when they break surface, causing ships to sink if they happen to be above this area. On top of this, methane in the atmosphere can stall a plane's piston engine, which is why there are so many plane losses in that area. It's also the most logical reason behind the mysterious loss of Flight 19.
