get your strength stats all the way up and try that. i could be wrong though...

You don't need them all the way up. you need about 7 physique and toughness with 6 health.

maybe you had a glitch, now I'm not saying your wrong Aazh, but that didn't work for me, I had to have all of them.

I know the trick behind this one, when you first go to pull the sword out, the game records the levels of your strengh attributes, and in order to remove the sword, you have to increase them a certain amount, or max them out (whichever comes first).
Strength: +5
Health: +2
Toughness: +3
Strength: +5
Health: +2
Toughness: +3
