Missingno. Effects!

I would like to know about all of the things that happened to your game when you caught missingno. I don't know if I should catch it and have a wierd, cool pokemon to my collection, or catch it and have my game deleted! Reply with all of the things that happened.

I haven't caught it, but I know it does these:

1) Crashes your Hall of Fame, but some things in it may be interesting.
2) Duplicates your item in the 6th slot to 129 or something. You can get 9,998 coins this way or 2 bikes or lots of fossilized pokemon.
3) I've heard that it messes up your game if you put it in your PC, but this doesn't happen on everyone's game.

I would reccomend at least encountering it annd duplicating Masterballs. Why does everyone cal them Master *****s?

I've caught the 'M and this is what happened to me:

1)Crashed my Hall of Fame, (Not much of a threat to me),
2)When I duplicated my Master Ball and deposited it, it said:

-Master Ball <9
-Master Ball <9
-Master Ball <9
-Master Ball <9
-Master Ball <9
-Master Ball <9

3)I gave it a Rare Candy and it evolved into a Kangaskhan and it's moves were:

-Water Gun
-Water Gun
-Sky Attack

And that's pretty much all that it did. I'm not sure about the Missing No. though.

I'm sure they mean Missingno

There's a Pokemon called MISSINGNO. and a Pokemon called **M**. They mean the second one which evolves into a Kangaskhan.


PS- My Kangaskhan knows Fly too.

Is one good to catch and one bad to catch, or are they both bad to catch?

They're both bad to catch (one could be worse than the other depending on different game paks), but I caught them both anyway. Nothing too serious happened. And they're not totally different. They look identical on the older versions of the games. The only difference I found between the two, is that 'M (the one that evolves into Kangaskhan when given a rare candy), evolves into a Kangaskhan when given a rare candy, and Missingno. doesn't. I think 'M is just an insignificant version of Missingno. also. (I caught five 'Ms, saved, and was missing four the next time I continued the game.)

If you've already caught it, check your hall of fame.

I didn't catch it, and it was still crashed.

M atcully causes way more damage to your game then missingno.

How? Give some examples, cause I want to know if I can catch a really cool glitch pokemon, or crash my game.

Well, if it goes in to you PC you will never be able to withdraw agian(I think). Also carrying one around with you can start to glitch up your game. Like the pokemon at the start up screen can turn to missingnos. Or glitch up the graphics in battle. I think it's ok if Missingno go's to your PC, just not M. Although Missingno may glitch up the graphics in battle after you look at his stats, Missingno won't erase your game, M will.

So you should evolve M as soon as possible so it doesn't do anything.

I think so, still I would be careful. When M evolves, nickname him. That should fix the glitch!

If you teach M fly before you evolve it to Kangaskhan, then put it on Pokemon Stadium 1 (not 2!!!) then you can make Kangaskhan look like he is floating!!!!
