Surprisingly enough, Gameshark actually had codes back then. So get an old gameshark device, and use it to hack pokemon red. Or, you can just use the various glitches found in game.

Yes, that is correct. They actually made a device back then. Good luck finding one though.

Or if you wanna get illegal you can get an emulator with a built-in game shark.
