heard about this yes it is sad but no one can blame the show it is the kids fault especially since there were some older kids with him. Sometimes i wonder whether they know how to think. It is not that i don`t feel sorry for the kid but it was a stupid move

Yes, it is tragic. The kid should've known better, you know? I really do hope they don't ban Naruto. I don't know what I'd watch then lol.

I heard a similar case on Malaysia, a kid died for trying to copy Rey Mysterio (from the WWE) alternative move.

I say that kids that are young and don`t have a lot of common sense should not see shows or movies with dangerous stunts who knows, they might try to do them

It's his fault. He should have known that Gaara is merely a character from a anime, and manga. You can't really control sand.

Maybe at the beginning of each anime they should have a warning.

I know that his story was sad and his was even more sadder than Naruto's and Sasuke's put together

This was very tragic and sad, however, despite how the kid got this idea from Naruto, this really belongs in General Chat.

I don't even know how the kid would think burying himself in the sand would allow him to control it. I would assume kids would pick up sand and throw it around, or think really hard at the sand. Terrible, tragic, and very sad.

Lolfail. Even though this kid's death is tragic, and sad, this is really funny for me. OMG, maybe I can be, like, Ichigo, from Bleach, and have someone thrust a staff into my diaphragm so hard, I'll turn into a Shinigami!

I wouldn't call it stupidity. It's rare for me to have any compassion in these types of situations, as I usually spot stupidity and ignorance, but honestly, he's ten. He didn't know better. The cause of death would indeed be lulz if you, I, or another person did it, but not him. I actually find it sad.

he is 10 years old, i dont think they would think that sand could kill you.

and i do believe that they could blame it on the show as he got the idea from it. duh. but they wouldnt ban the show.
