I wouldn't call Opeth "fast". They're more into creativity than just going nuts.
Maybe some Strapping Young Lad, one of Devin Townsend's bands (his angry side, that is). SYL can get really out of control sometimes

Yeah, but its not exactly a high tempo, which is what bomba is looking for.. He's fast on the double bass drums on Deliverance, but that's accompanying a slower beat. The kicks are playing double time from everything else, but it doesn't make the song itself faster.
If you consider the main beat of that section of the song, it's only around 100 bpm

I would suggest 'Quesion!' and 'Cigaro', both by System of A Down, and 'Platypus' by Green Day.
But mostly Platypus, for speed.
And, if you look them up on youtube, try to stay away from the live versions of Platypus. Not Green Day's best song to play live.
