Pairing is where you choose a person that has similar personality and interests as you to pair-up with. It's just for fun, so you can have a buddy around the forum. When you're paired up, you put that you're paired with that person in your sig. NOTE: You can have more than one pair.

Off of what Tank said, it's nothing that actually needs to be pinned. In my opinion, and at the time all of the General Chat Moderators' opinions, it was a waste of space.
If this thing would be as successful as the first one, then there's no need to pin it, as it would keep up anyways. And if it isn't successful, then there's no reason to pin it just because of that fact.
