Will Diamond die out after Platinum release

Well as we all know, Diamond and Pearl were both great games, but now with the release of the third game, do you think they will die out and platinum will overide them?

I think pearl might as its not as played now and Ive done everything on it lol I just battle now

i think the 4th generation will be like the 3rd it overids for a while then theyll even out like Sapp/Ruby/Emra yahh but im siked for it
i copied it on pearl iraised my meganium infernape and blastoise to lvl 70 and didnt catch palkia and caught garitina

I dunno, Platinum definately promises more change than Emerald had and since Emerald did kick out R/S I'd say Platinum will.

Yeah it will happen , whats the point in having diamond if you have platnuim.

Diamond and Pearl may die out after a few months have past after Platinum will be released. I'm holding on to all my best pokemon from my Diamond and transfering them to Platinum when I ever get the chance.

i think it will by good but then pokemon will die unless they make remakes of G/S/C cause those games owned but yeah platinum should be better thanD/P

I don't think it will die completely. There will be those who won't be arsed to spend money on a similar game.

Well, it happened for the thrid generation. So why not to the fourth? I don't want it to happen, but look at all the new release features the game is bringing.

I don't think it will. It's always been like this since S/G/C, the third installment is always the better one(due to new features), but everyoe still goes back and plays the other. I'm just wondering if Nintendo will be able to make all the new features that they promised(as in, I hope they don't make last minute deletions).

i think platnium will be popular for at least a year then pokemon D/P will jump back up and take the spotlight

I don't think D/P will ever die, because it has great legends to transfer to the new game.

Now, I know this may sound dumb, but I've been hearing about the platinum version for a while, but is it going to be like D/P? or Ranger? or Mysetry dungeon?

Its gonna be like all of them sep ranger.


Platnuim will have all the legends (so i've heard) so whats the point in having D/P if all your gonna do is transfer your team over.



Plus legends suck anyway.

It's going to be like D/P, same style of gameplay, just new features.

But like all third sequel games, they will have stuff that the first two didn't have, but the first two will have something that the third doesn't have. It may be pokemon, items(doubt it), Berries; who knows.
