Offence or defence

i go with offence every once and a while i ll use a defencceive move like sunnyday

Some REALLY GOOD defense Pokemon are:

Blissey = special defense
Skarmory = defense

Sunny Day is not a defensive move. It's more like a aiding move.

very nice topic this one... but obviousli you can't win with offese or defense alone (but most pokes are ambiguous like that... ones with great offensives aren't good at taking hits, and ones that are tough slap like lil girls...) normali you'd include sports to help out... but yeah as i said -_-"

i think the queerest aspect of the game is the speed issue; who goes first etc... blazekin is damn slow that it gets pwned by anything coz of it's lame defensives... it'd be otherwise an awsome poke (it's type totali kicks ***... but u gota chuck in another 1 or 2 pokes at least to make it a sustainable player)

I use a little bit of defense and offense. I usually try to have a better defense. You know, a better defense is a better offense. Thats the thing my basketball, soccer, and football coaches would say, so, I assume its the same with pokemon, lmfao!

Hey how about moves that are both offensive and defensive such as skull bash, mud slap and others of its kind. Isnt it cool to have moves offensive and defensive 2in1.

Blissey < Regice.

Regice has at least some standing for offence compared to Blissey's lacklustre potential.

No, Blissey has WAY MORE HP. It can take more special hits then Regice ever could. Blissey can also be a offenive Pokemon giving the right moves. For certain Pokemon people give Blissey Ice Beam, Flamethower, or Thunderbolt to kill of certain Pokemon that could outdue Blissey. They tend to use Calm Mind some times also with that. Like Skarmory, or Dugtrio-(If used right this Pokemon can DESTROY!!!!!!!!!!!)Don't just count Bliss for a defense Pokemon, it can be quiet offensive. Seismic Toss is a overused move on Blissey as well.

tis true, to complement to blissey's huge HP, blissey can also heal; one heal = 1 regice :S ... the regis may have huge defense and huge offense (comparison to blissey) but they can't recover any of the damage they drink up unless there was wish passing going on in ya team (and if there was you wouldn't wana bother with defensives...)

but ice is a very good poke... but it's a pure tank; it's not in the same league as blissey
