I think it's dumb that nintendo doesnt' let you get pokèmon from Gold, Silver, Blue, Red, etc.

oh yeah. I left a mew, mewtwo, ho-oh, lugia,raiku,entei,suicune, level 100 raichu[from yellow traded to gold] dragonite, and a whole bunch of others.

You weren't even able to transfer them to R/S/E. For a good reason. The games have totally different dynamics and graphic styles. It just wouldn't work due to all the sprites being redone and a whole new level of pixeling was created.

Yeah but they should at least have a nintendo event or something where you show them those pokemon on one of the old games, then they copy it and make new ones on your newer game.

I was time to move on anyway, sure it may suck that your level 100 Charizard from G/S/C is now useless but hey now you have tha knowledge to train up a stronger one. Plus with Gen 3 it took a huge leap from the cheapo graphis from the older games and so many of the mechanics changed.
