i think the new gym layouts in platinum are great it makes it more challenging and mroe realistic rather than just walking in defeating a few trainers then straight to leader, going through challenges are more fun... also the some of the gym leaders have more pokemon and new pokemon at higher levels which is cool... and the fact that you battle cynthia as the 3rd gym leader rather than 5th is awesome i think its a totally better game well done nintendo

Ahhh so you have the Japanese version? Thats awesome, how do you like it? Is it a lot different then the other ones (pearl and diamond?)

yeah down in australia its boring cause we get games but i am not allowed a lot so im stuck with diamond and i have done everything 5 tars and all so if u think platinum is awesome then i think its awesome

i live in uk, bradford but i still got the ENGLISH version and its awesome, and marielue5 your right they should stop making everyone the same layout

Is the game more difficult?
Anyways, the only reason why Japan gets it first is because the game is made in Japan. If you made your own product in you live in Nowhere, Kansas, I'm sure you'd promote your product there first before promoting it somewhere else. US gets it first because of something along the lines of us needing more. We do have a larger population.

Well i dont find any pokemon game difficult its not made to be a difficult game but for a newby playing it for the first time then yes probably slightly hard ... but if your an experience pokemon gamer then its basically same difficulty , but more fun

I never knew you coul play Cyntia as the 3rd gymnist if I nderstand this correctly. It obthers me that Japan still hasn't made the US and Europe release dates concrete and official. We only know it's 2009.

Buddy, you're in no position to order a member banned, besides, only Admins can ban. And his post is totally ok, he hasn't strayed away from topic so just cause people don't say tha thangs you want them to say doesn't mean you can throw a hissy fit. And that's utter bull about the English version cause if it were out here you can surely bet I'd have it and have it beaten by now, it's been official for a while now, no NA Platinum til '09. I'm startin' to think you don't have it yourself too since Cynthia is the Champion, not a Gym Leader and screenshots and info confirm that and since the other versions aren't even OUT YET. So unless you can come up with some solid proof you have this game, a few screenshots, a video, whatever this thread will be closed within the next couple of days.
And Phil, Cynthia is and always has been the Champ, not the third Gym Leader.

i ment fatina not cynthia i know cynthia is champ and fatina is normally 5th gym bt now she is 3rd i get mixed up between cynthia and fatina all da time and turst me i have it im not a lil gay boy who lies sayin i got a game to get attention ;)
