They both do but it's more difficult to say which one would be best really since you never get to control RAY.

It's good that Raiden was the one to kill Vamp, you'll know what I mean by that when you play MGS2.

i kno raiden and vamp fight in mgs2 but i never really saw what happend after the fight so it gives me a chance to get the game and enjoy a bit of the sequal
