Best way to get money early on in pokemon blue?

Please dont list any ways that involve glitches, because i have no interest in glitch abuse. Also even if its something like mid game, go ahead and list it anyway. Preferably a repeatable way(s) of getting money.....

There's no way to get more money on Pokemon Blue that's repeatable except for Elite Four. You can sell some useless items away to gain money. Repeating fights is only available from Gen 2 and up.

In this game, it's all about glitches. Only thing you CAN do is pick up every item, and most of all save money from stupid stuff, like repels, you can use the XP!

This might work in R/B/Y, but I know it works on FRLG. Don't hold your breath.

Remember that Nugget bridge, back on Cerulean City? The Rocket Grunt up there gives you a Nugget before he battles you. If you lose, he'll give you another one when you fight him again. Take a Magikarp or something and keep losing to that trainer. And don't worry, the amount you lose usually won't be above the cost of selling the nugget.
