Do you like Computer allies?

I love computer allies, but everybody I know hates them. So I always have to team up with them.
What do you like for human/computer set ups?

Computer allies are okay, they're just basic tho easy to predict... I hate them building close to me cause they never send help if I need it and they're right there... it's annoying

I know, that happens to me alot. That is why I have like six people on a giant map.

They are bad because they just dont move unless you tell themt oo.But human ones just attac when they get attacked.

All my computer allies do is 'exist' and don't attack me, but they always tell me when someones attacking them, but don't help me!

usually they are okay but sometimes they get really annoying like when one time i was playing and the celts were my allies and he built a wall straight thrugh my city dividing it in half

I absolutely hate computer allies. You cant write anything to them, and they dont do anything worth notice. I once played a four player team game. I was the Byzantines, and the Saracens were my allies. I was facing the Huns and the Chinese. I defeated both of them without my ally doing anything but providing gold for me. He would occasonally send out 5 units to attack but would lose terribly. Computer allies suck!!

There better than enemies, but when they invad my city and set up lumber camps I use mangonals on attack ground where they are to kill em, or I trap them in a walled area. Then if you're ever attacked you can demolish the wall and use them as decoys while you flee or get reinforcements. But allied AI is stupid...
