age of empires wont work

Okay heres the deal; i have age of empires 2 and the conquers expansion and neither of them will work on anybodies file but my brothers. on anybody else file u start the game, it loads. then it closes and somthing comes up saying it had to close due to the condition of the game. when u hear this u think it means the disk is scratched but it works every single time on my brothers file. the only reasons this could happen are either because his file is the admin or because he used to play it all the time on his file and nobody did on any other files or because there is some kind of firewall that is disabled on his file

YOU HAVE TO UNINSTALL THE GAME AND REINSTALL IT IT SHOULD WORK IT HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE YOU WONT LOSE ANY OF YOUR DATA EITHER.
