For me, it's the Bee shield. Orange tiered shield. I'm currently level 31, the shield stats are;
Capacity; 991
Recharge; 1610
Delay; 3.13
Amp Damage; +3137
Amp shot drain; 0
It's the recharge rate, Amp Damage and the Amp shot drain figures which make this rare as hell shield (although not that rare - it's known amounst the community really well) a winner. Especially against bosses.
With an additional +3137 damage PER BULLET once the shields fully recharged, with 0 drain on shield capacity and a hugely awesome recharge rate, this thing helps tear down any enemies so, so much faster than if you were using a differen't one.
