I find your system a little odd, and you might provoke people by showing the warnings and report points, especially when reporting doesn't do anything unless the person does it repeatedly.
I also think it's a little odd that this topic is OPEN, Forums Rules topics are generally CLOSED and as a mod you open them up for 2 minutes when you need to make a post/edit.
I know you are trying to be organized with the warning's and report system but it truly isn't practical.
Might want to add a link to the Forum Rules as well (the official one).

Thanks cheating. My system is:
1 Point for something small
2 for a repeated offence
3 for repeated spamming and useless topics
5 for flaming
And if you do enough for it to add to 10, that should be enough to be reported.
I thought I should leave this open so members can appeal if they think they were wrongly given warnings.
And I will put put a link to the rules, thanks for that.
PS. Can you please think of a way to improve this?
PPS. cheating, when you get 30 posts I think you should go for a mod spot because you have lots of experience at modding other forums.

I planned to do that. I like Bully, it's cool and interesting and not like Rockstars GTA with all the mature content (My mom doesnt let that fly).
I mod 1 other forum, FFXII, I don't post a ton there, but I do like to consider myself above average in the ideas and suggestions and thinking department.
As for suggestions. Don't refer to it as the "Original Rules" call it "Site Rules" or something else, original implies it started as this, but it's since been changed.
Explain what SPAM is, because if I'm a 10 year old who has snuck on here to post or have my parents permission (Its hard to catch them and I know a lot of people have to be under 10) this might be their first forum, so defining what spam is helps. (I got banned for a day from Runescape's forum because people told me to stop spamming but I had no idea what that was.)[color=red][/color]
Same with flaming and you should add flamebaiting
define when a topic is "old" officially it's 1 month after the last post, in quick moving forums it's treated more like a week, and slow forums has no limit.
I still completely disagree with your 10 and I'll report you system. No way can I make 10 points and see a valid report. If a crazy guy comes here and starts a lot of profane things and bad topics, that's reportable, but if someone just messes up a lot no one will care about it if you report.
If you keep the point system (Which you can, I don't care either way) you need to have it reset monthly. If someone accumulates 10 points over the course of the year they don't deserve to be reported. People's mishaps don't haunt them for more than a month, so maybe on the 1st of each month you wipe the slate clean.
That's all I have for you at the moment. If something comes to me later I shall tell you.

Flamebaiting is saying mean things in hopes a certain person will flame you so you can report them.

In case you care, Da Corbster, the first moderator of this forum, who left for his own reasons 2 months ago, made this topic to post rules in. I don't see a point for having rules as a topic because there is a link to the website rules next to your name. It was unpinned for that reason and left open so people could say their goodbye's. Which, probably isn't in the code, but showing decency is more important.
