Do I have to smash all the snowmen in chapter 3? I assume they vanish once the snow goes away, but if I do not go smash them all I can't get 100% game completeion, right?

I think you have to. I did and I have 100%. And if you get detention in winter, it's snow shovelling instead and that's needed for 100% aswell.

That stinks, I just ended winter. Ah well, I'll just replay with a guide or something to get 100%.

Do what I did. I did a speed run the first time so I knew where everything was, then I completed 100% on a second file.
