evaluation of weapons

seriously?

snipers = win. well not draganov. (thats THE most fail gun in the game.)
m40a3 r700 and barret .50cal are acceptable. the others make me angry.

assault. G36C cant get any better. dont really like ak-47 due to its kick. m16 is good but only with red dot, (it tends to miss alot more than it hits.) m16 and g3 are win material (highly accurate and 1 hit in hc modes.)the rest are average. but not carbine i HATE that gun. the red dot fails and always moves.

smg. i <3 smgs. mp5 is great. too much kick with red dot but slap on a silencer and its an automatic win. p90 is alright. the only reason its used is because of its high fire rate and ammo capacity (which are both high) hit on red dot and double tap and you increace accuracy as well as fire rate. uzi. the only reason i use this is because its the golden. PERIOD. scorpion. perhaps the best and worst gun in the game. EXTREMELY accurate but its ammo capacity is sooo low.
ak-74u. now the ak74u is my ABSOLUTE favorite gun... if i was stupid. i mean i have no idea where to line up the sight on this gun. the iron sight has the random little bar on it that annoys me so much. i always aim with the top of it and miss. i hate it.

LMG. the only reason these are used is so juggernoobs never have to reload. i hate them period. but ill still use the guns. only for golden =]

shotguns. are awesome. the first one is bad because of the pump action but if you put on double tap (yeah, i know.) it cuts the pump action out almost completly. m1014 is great for rushing. one shot on any game mode (provided your close enough) just hit on grip and bandolier, sleight of hand and extreme conditioning and you basically rip up the map.(provided your good enough.)

blue perk. c4 = bad
special grenade x3 = only ever use this at the start of a prestige. (rank 53, prestige 9.)
rpg-7 = great for teamkilling *sarcastic laughter*
claymore x2 = never really use it. only people who never watch their backs need this =].
frag x 3 = great if you spam nades EVERYWHERE.
bandolier = <3, can never get enough ammo.
bomb squad = totally eliminated this when i realised to look for red lines before walking into a door.

Red perk.
stopping power = must have. always use it except when you want double tap uav jammer or sleight of hand. which is rarely ever.
juggernaut = no comment.
sleight of hand = basically only used if your rushing. or if your lmging without juggernoob on.
double tap = lame. except when your using p90 or uzi. it actually makes them more accurate. these guns shoot in a figure 8 motionbut with double tap on the usually skip the outer parts and focus on where your aiming
overkill = never use it. i dont need it. why start with 2 guns when you can just pick one up. also d eagle defeats the purpose of this perk.
uav jammer = great for ninja defusing
sonic boom = never used.

green perk
xtrm conditioning = only used for rushing with shottys.
steady aim = essential for no scoping. great for hip firing.
last stand = can you get any worse. not only do you get the opportunity to kill the other guys you also get the chance to let others steal their kill... -.- i absolutely hate this perk
martydom = noob.
deep impact = whats the point? go around the wall.
iron lungs= only used for sniping which is nullified when you get acog.
dead silence = win. cant beat the feeling of kniving someone in the back and swears at you for hacking because they couldnt hear you.
eavesdrop = wtf whats the point in this.

attachments
red dot sight = its great for many different things and in most cases better than the standard iron sights. (with the exception of mp5 silenced and all snipers. LOL)
silencer = great for normal modes. kinda nullified in hard core with the exception on mp5 which is only good with silencer.
acog (pronounced A.C.O.G not aye cog.) = great for speed sniping and some assaults lame for everything else.
grip = hardly ever used.
sniper scope. = only used in sniping.

all in all my fave is g36c with red dot or silencer with bandolier, stopping power or in certain situations uav jammer or double tap and sleight of hand, and steady aim or dead silence.

Perk 1:
c4 = Only good for killing tanks...
special grenade x3 = This is terrible. I'd take anything over this... :/
claymore x2 = Only good for snipers, and Team Tac.
frag x 3 = Kinda for n00bs, but just when people are turds about it. This's probs my favorite Perk 1.
bandolier = "<3, can never get enough ammo." <- Agreed. Great for SMG's.
bomb squad = Worthless perk. (unless it's W@W)

Perk 2:
stopping power = Always use it. Only when I'm being a ghost (UAV Jammer), or it's on Killhouse or Shipment (Sleight of Hand), I don't use it.
juggernaut = SCREW YOU JUGGER-N00BS!!!
sleight of hand = Strictly for Shipment and Killhouse SMGing.
double tap = No, no, NO! Seriously? What gun are you gonna use this on? Ok, actually the W1200 is pretty nice with this.
overkill = I only use this every once in a while, when I feel like sniping, but still winning. ACOG'd Dragunov, ftw.
uav jammer = Only on Ghost classes. If you're using a gun without a silencer, there is no need for this.
sonic boom = Only for Tanks.

Perk 3:
xtrm conditioning = Shotguns, and Ghost classes. For me, I've found this better than Dead Silence! Especially for Sabotage, SND, etc.
steady aim = Friggin AWESOME! This perk is essential to my style of gameplay. I basically use it on every gun.
last stand = If you're good with this perk, have at it. But yeah, it's extremely annoying, and it really sucks when I get ripped off and someone steals my kill. However, when you steal someone else's kill, it makes it all better.
martydom = I guess it's ok, but I'd take almost anything over this because you have no control over this. It's like your 3rd perk is used strictly luckily.
deep impact = I've been experimenting with this, and actually, it's pretty darn good. I'd definitely use with an LMG.
iron lungs = Fail.
dead silence = Nope. Like martyrdom, I'd take almost anything over this.
eavesdrop = A phenomenal idea, but alas, worthless.

okay first of all i'll start with the snipers

moa43 or whatever is good in hardcore only
M21 is awesome all around
dragonuv epic fail, i mean what's the point just use a M21
R700 useless in hardcore, great in normal or old school
50 cal. is pointless all around only barely useful with stoping power in normal modes, unless your making an assassination (one shot, one kill sound familiar? also the gun store i usually go to has one for 5000$ )

lmgs

m249 saw is a fail unless having stopping power
rpd is fail unless red dot sight is used
m064e is only good when grip is used or else it kicks off aim to much, worthless for hardcore

smgs

mp5 *yawns* useless all around
skorpion is horrid except for sometimes in hardcore for no aiming (hip aim firing only)
mini-uzi is all around horrid never ever will it be worth anythin'
P90 has potential with silencer in hardcore only
ak-74u is the most win smg eva! don't mess with it or you gon' be dead

shotguns

w1200 is okay but i don't like it
m1014 is the better one and i don't use it often since it has no practical use

assault

ak-47 has to much kick so it's worthless
m164a is only good with ACOG scope
m4 carbine is the win of the category until you get a gc36
gc36 is great with anything best gun but i'm not a assault fan
m14 is the best one until the mp44 but it lacks in a iron aim to me
g3 is best with ACOG scope only but it is not preffered by me
mp44 is the second best primary gun in the game, due to power and accuracy and stability

handguns

m9 is a good but useless gun
the second one (forgot the name) is horrid
the third one (forgot that name two ) i love "sniping" with it, yes i snipe with a handgun, it's fun but hard but it p***es people off so
DEagle is a great handgun, good for "sniping" but i preffer the golden one
G DEagle is the best handgun by far, it has a nice shine to it and is great for sniping, due to the sights high contrat and the soldiers low contrast to it

^ Wow, you really only like about 3 guns, huh? This'll be a reply and my evaluating guns.

Assault Rifles:
M16: Fantastic gun. Sometimes, almost too fantastic. Great with any attachment but with red-dot it's win.
AK-47: It's my favorite gun (AK-74u) long range, what's there not to like?
M4: Fantastic gun. Great with Red-Dot, or nothing. This gun only suffers from low-ammo count.
G3: Single-shot rifles are worthless in CoD4 imo. The type of gameplay just doesn't work with it. (of course ACOG is ok)
G36C: It's the M4, but kicked up a notch. The standout gun of all the assault rifles.
M14: Worthless imo.
MP44: WAY too much kick for me, but if you can keep it under control, it's pretty intense.

SMG's:
MP5: Great starting SMG. If you first start the game, and really like this gun, your in good company. Imo, the SMG class is fantastic to start with. Because after that you can move on to bigger, longer-range guns much easier. Oh, and the MP5 is beast.
Skorpion: Actually, not near as bad as people give it credit. The accuracy is pure win, and even the power is fairly good too. (Try this on Countdown, it works great.)
Mini-Uzi: The worst SMG. But even then, not a bad gun. In very close range (right next to eachother) this gun can't be beat.
AK-74u: Best gun in the game. Like i said in some other thread, this is the gun for an SMGer with a little Assault Rifle in his heart. The gun can stand up great to any gun class, and usually come out on top.
P90: Do I really need to say anything? This gun is literally the god gun in CoD4. Also great with a Silencer.

LMG's:
SAW: Very, very bad accuracy, but compounded with the grip, and steady aim, it's not too bad. Also, probably the best gun for camping. :/
RPD: The standout LMG. FANTASTIC ironsights. There's not even any real need for grip on this gun! It's just very good all around.
M60E4: Terrible, terrible gun. Ok, it's not that bad, but the Rate of fire is crap. The ironsights are fail, and it's heavier than crap.

Shotguns:
W1200: Great, but I don't nlike it either. For the pure-shotgunner, it's probably the best.
M1014: It';s ownage in a tube. However, like every shotgun, not versatile whatsoever.

Handguns:
The only guns I ever used were the second one and Deagle. Both are fantastic for their specific game types.

not only three i like most but i was stating what they are worst and best with, with preffered attachments, so i like about 14 of them including handguns

i dont want to cause any offence to you and it is only an opinion but mostly everything you said was completly opposite to my thoughts lol.
