On the weekends and some weekdays, you can't find matches on COD4. I want to know if this is on the X360 version too, and why this happens.

Im not sure about the X360 version, but this happens because sometimes your connection can go abit faulty whilst playing. Even if you dont hav wireless it still goes faulty sometimes. :S.

Yeah I noticed that too, its kinda annoying..I thought it was my wireless onnection so I wired it and the same thing happened..frekin' servers

actually, it is mostly your internet connection, just get on the computer and go to connection settings, then on my computer it says diagnose and repair click that and then it will see if it can find any problems with it. VIOLA! it's fixed!!

Actually when the game came out it was the problem for all the drops. Now it has been fixed and if you have a good internet connection you almost never get dropped.

Well yeah when they came out with it they had some problems...at the moment they are fixed and if you don't find matches you must have a bad internet connection not allowing you to find anybody online.
