Ok, last night there were some major updates to the COD4 online multiplayer community.
First off, the new modes.
Mercenary Team Deathmatch: Same thing as regular, except no parties;random teams.
New hardcore modes: Many modes have been duplicated, and made hardcore. There is;
Hardcore Search and Destroy, Hardcore Old School, and many others.
Maps;
No NEW maps have been added, but other modes can now play on maps they couldn't before. You can now play Free For All on Showdown and Shipment, among other modes. You can also play on Wet Work in more modes.
Free-For-All mode-Score limit raised to 125.
Global Servers are also up I think, so that means that everybody across the world can play COD4 online!!

They took out Hardcore old school in the new patch...I thought it was fun to

I don't think there are Hardcore old school on PS3, but they added the new map pack for purchase for like $9 or $10, haven't bought them yet so, can't comment on them
but don't forget if you get annoyed by a player, you can mute them if you hit select then select them, they muted!!! lol

Lol man I was talking about when they first started call of duty online their was a hardcore old school with miniscule health on lol thats why the took it away from us.
