Black Ops Wii

Is this game any good for the Wii? I don't have an Xbox or PS3, and there's no way I'm going to spend my money on the DS version... So don't say "NO, WII SUCKS GET IT ON THE XBOX. XBOX YEAAAAAA!!!!!! >:O" I really want to hear everyones opinion on this. (which is why im making it a thread not a question on the questions thing XD )

I don't think anyone here actually has this for the Wii. There might be a passing member who sees the thread & responds, but I don't think a regular user has it on Wii.

Never played any CoD game on the Wii

I'm fairly sure most of us regulars are on either 360 or PS3.

But, we do have a Black Ops Community thread so if you do get the game & want to play with some people, anyone with the Wii version can add you.

I don't have a Wii, but I hear the Wii version is eh. It does not come with two of the three maps for Zombies. That's all I know of. It should have everything else though.

Which map Kino der to-whatever?

It only has Kino Der Toten. "Five" and Dead Ops Arcade are not in the game.

I had World at War for the Wii and, besides the thousands of Multiplayer hacks, I liked it. Not sure if Black Ops has quite as many hacks, but I don't think it will.

I've only played that Kino Der Toten one at a friend's house on the PS3. So I don't think I would be missing out on much... Can zombies go online on the Wii?

I heard about that, I don't believe it does. Your Wii updates when you first turn on the game.

From previous experience, I can say that Call of Duty games don't transfer over very well onto the Wii versions.

Well, i had W@W for WII, and i loved it. I played it with the pointing-system, and i found that fun, something special.

If you use the classic (?) controller, the one that doesn't point, it will be pretty much like any other console, i guess...

I know some people who play it Cod games on the Wii, and they say alot depends on hosting. The host recieves a huge advantge, yes even bigger than someone who is on Ps3/360. The graphics are worse, obviously. Although it seems to run, so why not try it out?

I've got it for the wii. It actually isn't dumbed down as everyone would imagine. Graphics are pretty good for a wii game, but no flamethrower attachment, clan tags, or emblems. Other than that it's the same game that you don't have to pay to play online for.

AND no gibbing. :( I guess Nintendo thought their regular market couldn't handle it...

I plan on getting it sometime this week anyway =)
